French-Registered Beech A36 Bonanza F-GAPZ Pops into Central Queensland Airports

Certainly a surprise visitor into a couple of Central Queensland Airports on Saturday 14 September was privately-owned French-registered Beech A36 Bonanza F-GAPZ.  It appeared to depart Charters Towers Aerodrome and call into Bundaberg Airport before continuing to the Gold Coast.

On Sunday 15 September, F-GAPZ has continued South to the Illawarra Regional Airport at Woollongong and Melbourne (Moorabbin) where it is photographed above.

Information about this plane and its possible around-the-world flight is limited, although it's worth noting that F-GAPZ arrived into Australia via Darwin from Kupang (Indonesia) on Friday 13 September.

We shall try to track its progress!
