Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRK Calls into Hamilton Island Airport on a Closed Charter

On Friday 6 September, Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRK was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport, flying in from Brisbane using the Pel-Air flight number and callsign of PFY9882.

After a short time on the ground, VH-ZRK was noted departing Hamo and returning to Brisbane but as PFY9281.

It is assumed that this flight was a closed charter of some sort.

Meanwhile, it's worth mentioning that also on Friday 6 September, the visiting Linfox Express Charter / Air National Australia Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 605 VH-LEF was noted departing Hamilton Island Airport for its Melbourne (Essendon) base.  It had arrived from Essendon last Sunday 1 September.
