As mentioned below, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 jet VH-NUO has finally made it over the East Coast Australia after spending its entire time in Australia since delivery in June 2019 operating out of Perth in Western Australia. And on
Tuesday 22 September, VH-NUO was finally spotted in Central Queensland, photographed parked up at Emerald Airport after arriving from Brisbane and Moranbah Airports as UTY6602.
VH-NUO was also then photographed again the next morning on
Wednesday 23 September before it the returned to Brisbane via Moranbah Airport as UTY6603.
Plane spotters in Emerald continue to be quite fortunate to see numerous Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 and F-100 jets operating various Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights from and back to (mostly) Brisbane.
Moranbah Airport continues to see the biggest amount of FIFO plus Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) flights by Alliance Airlines and also QantasLink and Hevilift each week with the middle part of the week proving the busiest days.
While Alliance Airlines continues to operate FIFO charter flights to both Mackay and Rockhampton Airports.
Sincere thanks to the local plane spotters for sharing these great photos!
