FlyPelican (Pelican Airlines) BAe J32 VH-OTQ Returns to Rockhampton Airport on FIFO Charter Flight

After appearing to depart the region for good last week - so we thought anyway - on Wednesday 16 September, FlyPelican (Pelican Airlines) British Aerospace BAe Jetstream 3206 (Jetstream 32) turboprop aircraft VH-OTQ was noted flying into Rockhampton Airport from Julia Creek as PE998.

It looked to be completing, yet again, the weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight to Hughenden and Julia Creek, although this week, it arrived into these places from Newcastle (Williamtown) and Moree on Tuesday 15 September.

Also on Wednesday, after taking on fuel, VH-OTQ departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Williamtown as PE999.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 16 September, Seair Pacific / Istelcote De Havilland DHC-6-100 Twin Otter VH-BVS was yet again noted at Rockhampton Airport operating the weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) closed charter flight from the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Rocky then up to Collinsville Aerodrome and Townsville.  As usual, VH-BVS later returned South over the same route.
