Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) Aircraft A39-007 and A39-005 Both Complete Missed Approaches at Rockhampton Airport

On Tuesday 12 January, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-007 was noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.
 

It flew up from RAAF Base Amberley to Townsville (pictured) where it landed for a short time.

A39-007 then returned South to Amberley but via a missed approach and low overshoot at Rockhampton Airport.

A39-007 was heard to be be flying as "Dragon 11".

While just after sunset, also on Tuesday 12 January, fellow RAAF Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-005 was also noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.

It was heard to be flying as "Dragon 12" and looked to fly up from and later return to Amberley.
