SG Aviation / Business Aviation Solutions Global Express XRS Bizjet VH-SGA Arrives into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport - Diverting from Hamilton Island Airport

On Friday 1 January, SG Aviation Australia / Business Aviation Solutions Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS VH-SGA was noted arriving into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport after looking as though it was unable to land at Hamilton Island Airport.

VH-SGA flew up from Melbourne (Essendon) via at least one missed approach at Hamilton Island Airport.

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SGA is staying at Prosie for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 10 January, VH-SGA departed Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport for Townsville before then calling into Hamilton Island Airport and then finishing the day at the Sunshine Coast.
