RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan A34-010 and RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-001 Complete Airwork at Bundaberg and Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airports

Also on Wednesday 7 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-010 was noted completing airwork in the Fraser Coast region before landing at Bundaberg Airport.

It looked to fly out of RAAF Base Amberley and completed airwork at Hervey Bay and then Bundaberg Airports before it landed at Bundy for a short time.  The Spartan then returned to Amberley.

A30-010 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Wallaby 35".

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 7 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-001 was noted completing a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

A30-001 was flying as "Wedgetail 13" and looked to fly up from RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle via airwork at Coffs Harbour.  The Wedgetail then flew up to Hervey Bay Airport where it completed a missed approach.

A30-001 then returned to to Williamtown.
