Conair Aerial Firefighting Dash-8-Q400MR C-FFQE Travels from Bundaberg Airport to Fight Bushfire in Carnarvon National Park

On Friday 22 October, the resident Conair Dash-8-Q400MR C-FFQE "Bomber 141", completed two return flights from its Bundaberg Airport base to complete a water drop on a bushfire raging in and causing the closure of the Carnarvon National Park.

The Dash-8 was accompanied by Agair Logistics P/L Rockwell Turbo Commander 690B VH-LVG "Birddog 273" which ended up landing at Roma Airport where it appears to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 23 October, it appeared that VH-LVG "Birddog 273" returned to Bundaberg Airport from Roma Airport.
