Some Photos of This Weeks Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Action as the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2021 Continues at Rockhampton Airport

With no flying today, here is a post with some great photos from this week of the various Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and helicopters coming and going at Rockhampton Airport as the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2021 (XWB21) continues.

After commencing its flying program at the start of the week, the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules transport aircraft '733' has operated 2-3 flights each day to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back to Rockhampton Airport.  It was spotted below on Thursday 7 October and has been heard to use the radio callsign "Condor" for each of its flights.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Boeing AH-64D Apache helicopters continue to complete sorties in pairs and threes, also from Rockhampton Airport to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back.  Apaches '066' and '067' were photographed below departing to Shoalwater Bay on Thursday 7 October as "Astro".

And the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Boeing CH-47F Chinook helicopters also complete sorties mostly as single ships, also from Rockhampton Airport to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back.  Chinook '88161' was photographed returning to Rockhampton Airport as "Cyclops 61" on Wednesday 6 October.

Sincere thanks to local photographer Steve V for again allowing us share these great photos!
