Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-KXM Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 5 October, Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-KXM was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport during a busy day of flying.  It originally departed the Sunshine Coast and called into Normanton and Vanrook Station before then flying down to Rockhampton Airport.

VH-KXM then departed Rocky for Dalby before then returning to the Sunshine Coast.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 6 October, VH-KXM called into Emerald Airport during another busy day of flying - see Blog post above!

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 5 October, Robindale Group (Bathurst) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK arrived into Emerald Airport from Orange and the Sunshine Coast.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 6 October, VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport and returned to the Sunshine Coast and Orange.

Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for the Gold Coast.  It had arrived from there via Gladstone Airport the previous day.

While also noted visiting Rockhampton Airport was Vanderfield Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH which flew up from Toowoomba and then departed to Mackay Airport before returning back to Rocky and then Toowoomba.

Piper PA-28RT-201 Arrow IV VH-HSN in company with Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee Six 300 VH-ISB flew up from Caloundra to Townsville via Bundaberg, Rockhampton and the Whitsunday (Shute Harbour) Airports.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 6 October, both VH-HSN and VH-ISB flew back down from Townsville to Caloundra but via Emerald Airport.

Cessna 208 Caravan, VH-DZZ, of the Skydive the Beach Group, flew into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from the Sunshine Coast after some time away.  Cessna 208 Caravan skydiving aircraft VH-NMV had earlier departed the Whitsunday Airport for Cairns.

Up at Hamilton Island Airport, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525A Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-ZIY was noted visiting from its Sunshine Coast base.

Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE flew up to Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast via Bundaberg Airport before then later returning back the Goldie.

And Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA was noted flying into Longreach Airport on its way from Archerfield to Ambalindum.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 6 October, VH-PGA returned to Archerfield from Ambalindum, flying via Moura Airport.

Finally, also on Tuesday 5 October, a couple Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights into the region included Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEP which visited Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

And during the afternoon, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TQW was noted flying up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Wanella Station (near Coppabella) before flying back down to Maryborough and Hervey Bay Airports.
