A Couple of Bizjets and More From Mackay and Rockhampton Airports This Week

The Singapore Flying College Cessna 510 Citation Mustangs have been back in the skies over Mackay and Rockhampton Airports this week, with VH-VSQ noted twice this week flying from Sunshine Coast to Rockhampton and then Mackay, before turning around and returning to Rockhampton and the Sunshine Coast.

Also at Mackay, there was a nice arrival on Wednesday 14 November in the form of Falcon Operations Dassault Falcon 50EX VH-FOL, which arrived into Mackay Airport from Brisbane (file photo below).  It departed back to Brisbane later in the day.

Over the course of Wednesday 14 November and Thursday 15 November, there appears to have been a large number of light prop-driven aircraft that visited Mackay Airport.  Some of these aircraft included Istleote/Seair Beech B200 King Air VH-MWQ (file photo below), Cessna 206 VH-ITV, Interair Piper PA-31 VH-FHJ, Rockwell 114 VH-TZM, Bathurst Aircraft Maintenance Piper PA-31-350 VH-CCL, Beech 58s VH-BMO and VH-WLC, and Raytheon A36 VH-YGM.

Meanwhile, at Rockhampton Airport, J. M. Kelly (Project Builders) Cessna 550 Citation II VH-JMK flew a return flight to and from Townsville on Tuesday 13 November.  Then on Wednesday 14 November, VH-JMK was noted departing to Melbourne (Essendon).

Lastly, Sydney Jet Charter Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-EVJ was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for the Gold Coast on Tuesday 13 November.
