Some Plane Spotting Photos from a Quieter Rockhampton Airport on Friday

A much quieter day at Rockhampton Airport on Friday 5 April was highlighted by the quick visit of Raytheon 390 Premier 1 bizjet N7088S which arrived from its Mackay base during the morning.

Rockhampton plane spotter 'IAD' captured some great images of the bizjet as it popped in for some fuel.  It then departed shortly after for Archerfield and Bankstown.

While he was at Rockhampton Airport, 'IAD' also captured Peace Aviation's Cessna 172 VH-OCN, which was most probably operating another training flight.

Also spotted was Singapore Flying College Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-VSQ which had earlier arrived from the Sunshine Coast as "Raffles 84".

Eagle-eyed spotters will also note the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Raytheon B1900D in the background parked at the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport apron.

Thanks mate!
