As mentioned below, Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 jet VH-ZPH called into Gladstone Airport late on Thursday 19 February operating the VOZ1717/1720 scheduled service from and back to Brisbane.

Of interest, last Saturday 14 February, fellow E-190 VH-ZPJ called into Gladstone Airport, operating as VOZ1709/1712 from and back to Brisbane.

This continues the pattern of a Virgin E-jet calling into the industrial city each Thursday and Saturday, although given the cancellation of services due to Cyclone Marcia, there may be a couple more jet services to call into Gladstone to clear a possible backlog.
