A Pair of SOCATAs and a Few More Lighties at Central Queensland Airports

A pair of SOCATA corporate turbo-prop aircraft have been noted flying around various Central Queensland Airport in recent days.  After arriving into Hamilton Island Airport over the weekend, West Australia-based SOCATA TBM-850 (700N) VH-TBM departed there and called into Longreach on Tuesday 10 February.  On Wednesday 11 February, it then departed to Forrest and on to its Jandakot base.

Bishopp Aviation SOCATA TBM700 VH-VSV had a busy Wednesday 11 February, initially calling into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from its Archerfield base.  It then continued on to Gladstone and Rockhampton, before departing to the Sunshine Coast and back to Archerfield.

Meanwhile, a couple of other light General Aviation (GA) aircraft that have had a busy week including Carmichael Builders Piper PA-31-325 VH-FHQ which visited Gladstone Airport from its Dalby-based on Tuesday 10 February.

And back out at Longreach Airport, Arnhem Land Community Airlines Gippsland Aeronautics GA-8 VH-LHD was noted passing through over the weekend while on a ferry flight to the North.
