A Weekend of Special Coloured QantasLink Dash-8s at Hamilton Island Airport - And Another Bizjet!

Looking over the weekend's movements at Hamilton Island Airport shows that a pair of QantasLink Dash-8-Q400s that wear special colour schemes called in on the scheduled QLK2824/2825 service from and back to Brisbane.

On Saturday 7 February, VH-QOI - which still wears its bright 'Destination Tamworth' - Tamworth Country Music Festival colours - called in, while on Sunday 8 February VH-QOH - still painted in its attractive Breast Cancer Awareness colour scheme - touched down at Hamo.

On the bizjet front, the visiting Aliven (Italy) Cessna 560XL Citation XLS+ I-CNDG departed to Darwin as 'SSR200' on Saturday 7 February.  Also, Jet City (Melbourne) Learjet 45 VH-LJX called into Hamo from Melbourne (Essendon) on Friday 6 February.  It departed back to Essendon on Sunday 8 February.

Finally, West Australia-based SOCATA TBM-850 (700N) VH-TBM called in from Jandakot and Alice Springs late on Sunday 8 February.
