Also on the commercial front, QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 VH-QOY was noted arriving from Roma as QLK2559 on Friday 30 January.  It departed directly to Brisbane using the same flight number so it is presumed that the aircraft may have diverted to Emerald due to weather in Brisbane.

Meanwhile, a couple of interesting light General Aviation (GA) visitors have been noted popping in and out of Emerald Airport over the last couple of days.  Partenavia P.68C VH-PNW of Airborne Aviation in New South Wales was due to to touch down on Saturday 31 January, as was Toowoomba-based Piper PA-46R-350T Malibu VH-SOG.

Finally, Corporate Air (Vee H Aviation) Cessna 404 Titan VH-VEA has been noted flying out of Emerald over the last few days on survey flights over the local area and beyond.  It is believed that VH-VEA also completed a flight from Emerald to Gladstone over this last weekend possibly on Saturday 31 January.

VH-VEA has also been noted using the flight number and radio callsign of SVY21 ("Survey 21").
