Virgin Australia Positions Boeing B737-700s VH-VBY & VH-VBZ for ops in West Australia

Reports over this last week suggest that Virgin Australia have 'closed' their Embraer E-190 'base' at Perth Airport and replaced the often resident E-190 jets with their two Boeing B737-700 jets VH-VBY and VH-VBZ.

Of interest, VH-VBY operated from Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Kalgoorlie and Perth last Sunday 1 February and has operated out of Perth since, while VH-VBZ flew into Perth from Adelaide on last Saturday 31 January.

It may - unfortunately - be some time before we see these cute little Boeings back on the East Coast.
