De Bruin Aviation (Mount Gambier) Aerostar 602P VH-OTX - And More - At Rockhampton Airport

Board member and Newsletter Editor of the Rockhampton Aero Club (RAC) Paul T has yet again sent through some great photos from Rocky Airport, this time on Thursday 7 May with yet more interesting light General Aviation (GA) visitors aircraft parked after arriving late the previous day.

One of the more interesting arrivals late on Wednesday 6 May and photographed on Thursday by Paul was De Bruin Aviation (De Bruin Air) Ted Smith Aerostar 602P VH-OTX which had arrived from Melbourne (Moorabbin) and Dubbo.

Another late arrival on Wednesday which was captured by Paul the next day was Cessna 208B Caravan VH-DJG which called into Rocky from Townsville.

VH-DJG joined Cloncurry-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH on the GA Apron.

VH-MDH eventually departed to Archerfield later on Thursday 7 May.

Paul also captured a couple more photos of the crowded GA Apron, along with the brightly coloured Glen Innes-based Cessna 310N VH-KOM.

Finally, the Rockhampton Aero Club building at Rockhampton Airport was undergoing some maintenance work.

The Rockhampton Aero Club is located on the General Aviation side of Rockhampton Airport, with the Aero Club building situated on the General Aviation access road which is off Canoona Road.
