During its visit into Rocky, the Aero Club's Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) Jan Rebello and Board member and Newsletter Editor of the Rockhampton Aero Club (RAC) Paul Tyler were fortunate to take to the air in the Cessna TTx for a local flight.
And they were mighty impressed!
Research reveals that the TTx was originally built by Columbia Aircraft as the Columbia 400. The aircraft evolved as the Corvalis TT and eventually the Cessna T240 (TTx) with the types' first flight in 2013. The TTx is equipped with Garmin G2000 14 avionics and a single Twin Turbo-Charged 310hp (231 kW) Continental TSIO-550-C engine.
Aeromil Pacific has more information about the Cessna T240 (TTx) here: http://www.aeromilpacific.com.au/aircraft/corvalis-ttx/
Looks like a great little aircraft - and from all reports it was a great day at Rockhampton Aero Club! Sincere thanks Paul Tyler for sending through these excellent photos!
