Flight tracking websites indicate that it conducted airwork around Rockhampton before heading West and conducting a missed approach at Emerald Airport. It was heard to be using its usual radio callsign of "Auscal 03".

It then returned and landed at Rocky.
Also a big day of flying for the Rockhampton Aero Club's Beech 58 Baron VH-KCN on Thursday 6 August with Facebook photos showing that it flew from Rockhampton to Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport and out to Longreach where it looked to be spending the night. And a what a lovely day for flying it was too!
