Cirrus Generation 5 SR22T Special Edition: Australis N7YT Pops into Rockhampton Airport on its way to Hamilton Island

A great visitor to call into Rockhampton Airport late on Wednesday 9 September was Cirrus Aircraft (Cirrus Design Corp.) Cirrus Generation 5 SR22T Special Edition: Australis N7YT.

The newly built sleek little prop touched down from Balina / Byron Gateway Airport.

After taking on fuel, N7YT departed North to Hamilton Island.

UPDATE!  I've discovered that as many as 30-40 Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft will descend on Hamilton Island over the coming days as Cirrus Aircraft Australia are hosting a 'Cirrus Life Event' at Hamilton Island from Friday 11 September to Sunday 13 September with 'meets and greets' and other sessions.

Should be an awesome sight!
