Flight Options (Australia) Cessna Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-PWX Also Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

A couple of other interesting arrivals into Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 26 April were also photographed by local plane spotter Kayanne H.

Special Mining Services / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-PWX was noted arriving from Brisbane having earlier touched down from the South.

After spending most the day and the evening parked on the Rocky General Aviation (GA) Apron, VH-PWX returned to Bankstown.

As shown above, Eclipse EA500 bizjet N465DG remains parked on the Rockhampton Airport GA Apron after arriving last Thursday 20 April.

Meanwhile, also touching down at Rockhampton Airport was the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ which arrived from Mackay.  It had earlier flown into Mackay Airport from Brisbane.

VH-SGQ was reportedly due to arrive into Rockhampton Airport earlier than planned however a thick fog over the Airport early on Wednesday 26 April saw it fly direct from Brisbane to Mackay.

Also forced to divert from landing at Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 26 April was LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" which flew from Brisbane to the Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport before heading North for Rocky.  Unable to land at Rockhampton Airport, VH-VVI continued to Mackay Airport and was reportedly due to return to Rockhampton.  It didn't - instead VH-VVI departed Mackay Airport for Cairns and then Townsville.

And New South Wales-based Cessna 210 VH-ZID arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Gold Coast via Archerfield on Tuesday 25 April.  It completed an aerial survey flight around Gladstone before landing at Rocky on Tuesday 25 April and then again along the Capricorn Coast on Wednesday 26 April.

Finally, Cirrus SR22 VH-OBT was noted completing a flight to Rockhampton Airport from and back to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour also on Wednesday 26 April.

Thanks Kayanne!
