On Friday 21 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-209 touched down at Rockhampton Airport for a period of time. The massive transport aircraft operated by the RAAF's 36 Squadron flew North from its RAAF Base Amberley home as "Stallion 50".
After around a couple of hours on the ground where a special guest appeared to be shown through the Globemaster, A41-209 returned to Amberley.
Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Kayanne H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
