Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech Super King Airs Complete Aerial Survey Flights Over CQ Following TC Debbie

In the days after severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie had passed through parts of Central Queensland, the response from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) has been swift and substantial.  One element that has been interesting to observe has been the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) which has looked to operate Beech B350 Super King Air aircraft of 38 Squadron from their home base of Townsville in an aerial survey type role.

The following Super King Airs were observed completing survey type flights over parts of CQ:
A32-426 as "Dingo 70" on Thursday 30 March
A32-651 as "Dingo 71" on Friday 31 March
A32-437 as "Dingo 70" also on Friday 31 March
A32-437 as "Dingo 70" on Saturday 1 April

At least two of the Super King Airs were observed completing survey type flying patterns over the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) with A32-651 as "Dingo 71" noted landing at Rockhampton Airport during its 'mission' on Friday 31 March.
