The wee small hours of Sunday 16 June, LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" was noted making what looked to be an unplanned visit to Emerald Airport.
It looked to arrive from its Townsville base and was originally on a flight to Brisbane. After an almost an hour on the ground, VH-VVI then returned to Townsville.
