VH-PXY was noted passing through Rockhampton and Mackay Airports while flying up to Carins.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 3 December, VH-PXY continued from Cairns up to Horn Island.

Meanwhile, another nice helicopter visitor to the region, also on Friday 2 December, was McDermott Aviation / Heli-Lift Australia Aerospatiale 365N2 Dauphin 2 helicopter N366SR which flew up from the Sunshine Coast to (possibly) Hedlow Airfield.  It later returned to the Sunny Coast via Gladstone Airport.

Finally, also on Friday 2 December, Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville.  It then departed to Brisbane before later returning up to Cairns.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ visited Rockhampton Airport once again from Mount Isa.

Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-JYA popped into Emerald Airport after flying up from Toowoomba-Wellcamp (pictured).

It then departed to Cairns.  It seems to be involved with school children charter flights between Far North Queensland and the South-East corner of the State.

And Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA landed at Moura Aerodrome from Narrandera.
