S&S Aviation / Business Aviation Solutions Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-XPA Arrives into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 18 September, S&S Aviation / Business Aviation Solutions Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-XPA flew up to Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast.

Microflite Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-8MF as "Firescan 399" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Bundaberg Airport and then departed back to there via survey work near Gladstone. 

Far North Queensland based Diamond DA 50 C VH-88R landed at Gladstone Airport from Archerfield and then departed to Cairns. 

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 18 September, eight Robinson helicopters landed at Gladstone Airport from the South then departed to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.  They appeared to include:
Robinson R66s VH-PFF (Victoria), VH-AD6, VH-VVY (New South Wales), VH-BCP (Queensland).
Robinson R44s VH-JGO (New South Wales), VH-KNK, VH-OLR and VH-NIK (Victoria).

Real Time Aviation (Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ Calls into CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Wednesday 10 September, Bowenville based (operated by Real Time Aviation - Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ landed at Clermont Aerodrome from Archerfield and then later departed to Rockhampton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 11 September, VH-JSZ departed Rockhampton Airport for Dalby and then Archerfield.

Robindale Group / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK flew from Emerald Airport to Bundaberg Airport and then the Sunshine Coast and Orange in New South Wales.  It appears to have flown up to Emerald Airport on Monday 8 September

Tindal Air (NT) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-NNA visited Middlemount Aerodrome from Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 10 September, Mandalay Two P/L Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SCQ visited Moura Aerodrome from Toowoomba.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 11 September, VH-SCQ was back in the region, calling into Longreach Airport from Toowoomba and Brisbane before it then continued to Mount Isa.  VH-SCQ later returned to Brisbane and Toowoomba.

Rural Funds Management (A.C.T.) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-STE flew out from Bundaberg Airport to a property South-West of Rockhampton before then actually landing at Rockhampton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 11 September, VH-STE flew from Rockhampton Airport to a property and back before then departing to Bundaberg Airport.

While Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome before then flying down to Rockhampton Airport, Maryborough Airport and then back to Hervey Bay Airport.

Newly registered Helibiz (Heli Lift) Agusta AW119 MkII Koala helicopter VH-A26 and Robinson R44 helicopter VH-WSR both arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast and then departed to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour. 

And Forest Air Helicopters (NSW) Bell 212 helicopter VH-JWV was noted flying into and around Clermont - possibly landing at being based at the locally-based Bush Heli-Services.

Finally, also on Wednesday 10 September, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-005 as "Wedgetail 11" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at the Sunshine Coast and then three at Bundaberg Airport before returning to Williamtown.

Volkswagen Air Service (Germany) Dassault Falcon 7X Bizjet D-AGBF Departs Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 22 May, Volkswagen Air Service (Germany) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet D-AGBF as BTX6F made a before dawn departure from Hamilton Island Airport for Darwin and then overseas.  As posted below, it had arrived into Hamo on Tuesday 20 May from overseas via Townsville.


And Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY flew up from Melbourne (Essendon) to Ararat and then the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.  It then flew down to Chinchilla Aerodrome and back to Essendon. 

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 22 May, Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Beech B300 Super King Air 350i aircraft VH-8PD arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns, Townsville and Mackay Airport before it then departed to Brisbane.  It then flew up to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and back to Brisbane.

These Queensland Government Super King Air are definitely becoming familiar sights in Central Queensland with VH-8PF flying North via Rockhampton Airport yesterday.

Comet-registered Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-RTC hopped from Hedlow Airfield to Rockhampton Airport and then flew the FIFO to North Curtis Island along with Peace Aviation Beech A36 Bonanza VH-MMB which flew to North Curtis Island and back to Rockhampton Airport.  VH-RTC then returned to Hedlow. 

FKG Air (Redjet Aviation) Hawker Beechcraft B200GT VH-FKB visited Rolleston Aerodrome from Toowoomba.

And Brisbane-based Caboolture-based North American T-28B Trojan VH-RPX flew up from there to the Old Station Farm for the fly-in and Airshow this weekend.  Several other light General Aviation (GA) aircraft also landed there.

Plus Rockhampton Helicopters Robinson R44 Raven II VH-TBT also flew down to the Old Station Farm where it will operate joyflights over the weekend.

Finally, also on Thursday 22 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-003 as "Envoy 99" landed at Bundaberg Airport from Canberra and Tamworth and a bit later departed to Hamilton Island Airport.  It then flew up to Cairns and back down to Townsville. 

UPDATE!  On Friday 23 May, RAAF Falcon 7X A56-003 again as "Envoy 99" flew down from Townsville to complete a missed approach at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport and then to land at Gladstone Airport. A bit later it departed to the Gold Coast and Roma Airport and then back to Canberra.

Local Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 Bizjet N142GZ Back in The Air out of Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 8 May, the locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was back in the air, noted departing Mackay Airport for Brisbane.  It later flew back to Mackay Airport.

While Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopter (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-EGK ferried North from Archerfield to Townsville via Rockhampton Airport.

Finally, also on Thursday 8 May, what appeared to be a Heli-Biz helicopter safari departed the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for Charters Towers Aerodrome and points further to the North West.

Helicopters participating looked to include:
- Victoria-based Robinson R44s VH-NIK and VH-XUN and Robinson R66s VH-LHG, VH-IGP and VH-AD6.
- New South Wales-based Robinson R44s VH-KNK and VH-JGO and Robinson R66s VH-VVY and VH-E9S.
- Queensland-based Robinson R44 VH-8BT and Robinson R66 VH-CSG.
- Eurocopter EC120 VH-KHR was also part of the group.

Various Civil Helicopters Depart Rockhampton Airport - And Other CQ Places - To Arrive at the Sunshine Coast to form the 'Energex Aviation Crew' to Assist with TC Alfred Clean-up - Plus More!

On Saturday 8 March, a heap of different helicopters departed Rockhampton Airport (mostly) and other parts all heading South to the Sunshine Coast.  It is reported they are forming the 'Energex Aviation Crew' to assist with the relief efforts following Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Forster Helicopters (Townsville) Airbus Helicopters AS 350 B3 VH-KFT


Executive Helicopters Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel helicopters VH-YQK and VH-DTS.



Omni Executive (Canberra) Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel helicopter VH-AB3.


Stirling Helicopters Aerospatiale / Eurocopter AS.350 B2 Squirrel helicopters VH-LBT and VH-LGG.



APA Helicopters Eurocopter AS350B3 VH-83Q.


Rotorco Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel helicopter VH-LDH.


Cloncurry Mustering Services Robinson R66 VH-8C4. 


All of these helicopters flew down from Rockhampton Airport via either Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport or Bundaberg Airport before continuing to the Sunshine Coast.

Bush Heli-Services Bell 407 VH-8BU flew down from Clermont to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then the Sunshine Coast.

 
Meanwhile, also on Saturday 8 March, QantasLink (Alliance Airlines) Embraer E-190 VH-UZK flew down from Cairns to Mackay Airport and then Rockhampton Airport as QFA1793 before it then departed to Townsville as QFA1790.

Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-NUU as UTY9820 arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

And Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQI popped into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport, arriving from Townsville and departing to Cairns as SKP902/3.

Luft Aviation Charter (Melbourne) Bombardier BD-700-2A12 Global 7500 Bizjet VH-8LA Spotted at Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Monday 14 October, a nice first-time visitor to the region in the form of Luft Aviation Charter (Melbourne) Bombardier BD-700-2A12 Global 7500 bizjet VH-8LA was spotted visiting Mackay Airport.



It had departed Cairns for Townville and then flew down to Mackay Airport.  It then departed to Coffs Harbour.  It seems VH-8LA arrived into Cairns from Melbourne (Essendon) the previous day.

Nice!

Meanwhile, also on Monday 14 October, Robindale Group / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK flew up from Orange to the Sunshine Coast and then Bundaberg Airport.  Later, it flew across to Emerald Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 15 October, VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport for Mackay Airport but returned to Emerald Airport later in the day.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 October, VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport for Bundaberg Airport before then continuing to the Sunshine Coast and home to Orange.

Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C bizjet VH-OAA arrived into Bundaberg Airport from Melbourne (Essendon).

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 15 October, VH-OAA departed Bundaberg Airport for Sydney. 

While Rural Funds Management (A.C.T.) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-STE flew up from Canberra and Sydney to land at Rolleston Aerodrome.  It then flew across to Rockhampton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 15 October, VH-STE departed Rockhampton Airport for Maryborough Airport before later returning to Rocky.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 October, VH-STE departed Rockhampton Airport for Natal Downs and then in the afternoon it flew from there to Longreach Airport and then home to Canberra. 

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ flew up from Brisbane to Rockhampton Airport.  It then departed to the Oaky Creek Mine Site but due to poor visibility, it diverted to Clermont Aerodrome.  During the afternoon, it called into Oaky Creek and the Newlands Coal Mine Site before then returning to Brisbane.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 October, VH-VEJ flew back up from Brisbane to the Oaky Creek Mine Site before it flew across to Clermont Aerodrome then back to Brisbane

Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-VSO flew up from Melbourne (Moorabbin) to Toowoomba-Wellcamp and then Moranbah Airport before then flying back to Wellcamp and then onwards to Archerfield.

And Koolardie Aviation (Townsville) Robinson R44 helicopters VH-HLM and VH-HTA flew down from Townsville to Gladstone Airport via Mackay and Rockhampton Airports.

Finally, also on Monday 14 October, Helicorp (Australian Army) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopters (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-YBG as "Pegasus 87" visited Mackay Airport from Townsville.

Bowenville-based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ Pops into a Couple of CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Thursday 29 August, Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield and then headed out to Clermont Aerodrome and then back to Archerfield - the opposite flight to yesterday!

While Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEY flew up from Brisbane to my local Clermont Aerodrome and then Oaky Creek before then heading back to Brisbane. 

Auslink Aviation / Aircrew Training and Support Diamond DA-40 VH-END visited Gladstone Airport from Archerfield. 

Edwards Coaches Cessna 441 VH-TAZ visited Gladstone Airport from Archerfield.

And the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Beech B300C Super King Air 350 VH-8PE arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville and then departed back to Cairns.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 29 August, LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA flying as "Guardian 10" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield. It is assumed that it will position into the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and provide support for the upcoming Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Exercise Wallaby 2024 (XWB24) which will kick off next week.

UPDATE!  Indeed on Friday 30 August, VH-XIA "Guardian 10" departed Rockhampton Airport for the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

And LifeFlight Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopters (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-XIU arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Mackay Airport and then departed to Archerfield.

It has been operating at Mackay Airport for the locally-based Central Queensland Rescue Service (CQ Rescue) helicopter service.

Finally, during the afternoon, also on Thursday 29 August, at least eleven helicopters departed Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport for the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour (Airlie Beach) on a Safari flight.  They were captured by local plane spotter Garth C as they rested after arriving into Hervey Bay Airport the previous day.















There were some familiar and new helicopters to CQ including Robinson R66s - Queensland based VH-CSG and VH-YSE, New South Wales based VH-VVY and VH-ESJ and Victoria based VH-PFF.  Plus Robinson R44s - South Australia based VH-CNT, Victoria based VH-RZC and VH-NIK and NewSouth Wales based VH-OLR, VH-KNK and VH-JGO.

Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY & Beech B200 King Air VH-ZSY at CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Friday 9 August, Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-ZSY as "Machflight 73" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and then departed back to there. This afternoon it repeated the flight.  Of interest, VH-ZSY has recently been re-painted into an all-white livery - no more 'bumble bee'!



While After arriving the previous day, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY as "Machflight 41" flew up from Bundaberg Airport to Cairns.  It later flew down from Cairns to Mackay Airport and then Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFC "Ambulance 643" flew from Bundaberg Airport to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 9 August, Regional Express Airlines (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZLF flew up from Sydney and Ballina / Byron Bay Gateway Airport to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport as PFY9362.  It then flew down to Brisbane as PFY9863.

Townsville based (West Wing Aviation / Helicopters Townsville) Beech 58 Baron VH-ABP visited Mackay Airport from Townsville.

Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH landed at Longreach Airport from Winton. 

The Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Beech B300 Super King Air 350i aircraft VH-8PF arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville and then departed to Brisbane. 

Fellow Queensland Government B300 Super King Air VH-8PD also arrived into Rockhampton Airport but from Brisbane before it then departed to Cairns.  Both new aircraft were on the deck at Rocky at the same time. 

Finally, also on Friday 9 August, several small light aircraft were noted flying around the region - some to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and many more to and passing through Longreach Airport - all from various locations.  

NSW based PA-28-161 Warrior II VH-CGO landed at Emerald Airport from Roma Airport then departed to Shute Harbour. 

Victoria based PA-28R-201 Arrow III VH-NEB and Tasmania based PA-28R-200 Arrow II VH-IGL which had landed at Longreach Airport on Wednesday, departed there to Shute Harbour. 

Tasmania based SOCATA TB-10 Tobago VH-XYD flew up to Shute Harbour from Bundaberg Airport. 

Tasmania based Jabiru J430s VH-LWM and VH-TJX landed at Longreach Airport from Winton. 

And a flight of eight New South Wales based light aircraft landed at Longreach Airport from Mitchel.  Later, they departed to Cloncurry.  These were: Mooney M20s VH-MKP and VH-MZG, Glasair Super 11FT VH-MHM, Amateur-built Sportsman 2+2 VH-XPF, Van's RV10 VH-KLN, Cessna 177 VH-CRD, Piper PA-28R-201 Arrow IV VH-PAR and Robinson R66 helicopter VH-8C4.

Eagle One Aviation (Navair Flight Operations) Cessna 525B CitiationJet CJ3+ Bizjet VH-X8X "Navair 131" Pops into Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 31 July, Eagle One Aviation (Navair Flight Operations) Cessna 525B CitiationJet CJ3+ bizjet VH-X8X as "Navair 131" visited Mackay Airport from Bankstown and Cessnock.

Falconair (NSW) Dassault 900 Falcon Mystere bizjet VH-CAD flew into Hamilton Island Airport from Bankstown.  It then departed to Melbourne (Essendon).

And McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY as "Machflight 421" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane and then departed to Mackay and Townsville.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 31 July, Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX VH-LYI flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome.  It then flew back down to Maryborough Airport and then Hervey Bay Airport.

Harris Aviation Charters / Aero-Star Aviation (SA) Beech B300 Super King Air 350 VH-8HA flew from Toowoomba to Moura Aerodrome and back before then flying to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and Winton and then back to Toowoomba. 

Daniadel Aviation Robinson R44 helicopter VH-KAA flew up from Archerfield to Biloela / Thangool Airport and then Mackay Airport. 

UPDATE!  On Friday 2 August, VH-KAA departed Mackay Airport and returned to Archerfield, again flying via Biloela.

And Noosa Air Aviation Robinson R44 helicopter VH-KLW arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast then departed to Mackay Airport and further to Townsville. 

UPDATE!  On Thursday 1 August, VH-KLW flew back down the coast, returning to the Sunshine Coast.

Rugby League Football Charters Begin - Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQC and Aerlink ATR 72-500 VH-FVR Both Call into Gladstone Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 24 February, North Queensland Junior Rugby League games in Gladstone saw the arrival of a couple of nice turboprop passenger charter flights from Cairns as the local Central Queensland Capras took on the Northern Pride across several age divisions.

First to touch down at Gladstone Airport was Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQC as SKP959 from Cairns.  During the afternoon, it departed back there as SKP960. 





Soon after, Aerlink (formerly Hevilift) ATR 72-500 VH-FVR as HT805 also landed at Gladstone Airport from Cairns and looked to return to there as HT806.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 24 February, Burbank Homes / Business Aviation Solutions Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-BMW departed Hamilton Island Airport for Sydney and Melbourne (Tullamarine).  It looked to have arrived into Hamo from those places on Wednesday 21 February.

While Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ flew up from Archerfield to Moura, Emerald, Roma, Mackay and then Rockhampton Airports before then returning to Archerfield.

UPDATES!  On Sunday 25 February, VH-JSZ again flew out from Archerfield and visited Rockhampton and Mackay Airports before finishing the day at Moura Aerodrome.  On Monday 26 February, VH-JSZ departed Moura Aerodrome for Rockhampton Airport before it then headed out to Julia Creek and Alice Springs before then flying back to Archerfield.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFC "Ambulance 634" arrived Emerald Airport from Brisbane before then flying across to Rockhampton Airport.  It then flew out to Longreach Airport and back to Rockhampton Airport before then returning to Brisbane.

Finally, also on Saturday 24 February, Emerald Coaches (Emerald) Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage VH-ZMM flew from Emerald Airport to Gympie.

Townsville-based Forster Helicopters Bell Helicopter Textron 407 helicopter VH-DMF departed Rockhampton Airport for the North.

South Australia owned Robinson R44 helicopter VH-8CE arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour before then departing to Bundaberg Airport.

And Melbourne-based GE Aero P/L Cirrus SR22T VH-VH-8GE departed he Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for the Ballina Byron Bay Gateway Airport in Northern New South Wales.

Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ and Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM Both Spotted at My Local Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Monday 5 February, there were a couple of nice visitors to my local Clermont Aerodrome including Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ which flew down from 'Natal Downs'.


It later departed to Dalby and Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 6 February, VH-JSZ was back in the region, visiting Roma Airport from Archerfield via Dalby.

And Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM flew up from its Gayndah Aerodrome base via Emerald Airport to Clermont Aerodrome.  It then departed to Emerald Airport and Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 6 February, VH-MYM departed Mackay Airport and returned home to Gayndah Aerodrome.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 5 February, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG flew up from Toowoomba-Wellcamp to Bundaberg Airport.  It then returned to Wellcamp via Kingaroy.

Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VSZ departed Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport for Sydney.  It had arrived into Prosie from Cairns on Saturday 3 February having flown up from Sydney over the previous couple of days.

And Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C bizjet VH-OAA departed Hamilton Island Airport for Melbourne (Essendon) after arriving from there last Friday 2 February.

Finally, also on Monday 5 February, Townsville based (West Wing Aviation / Helicopters Townsville) Beech 58 Baron VH-ABP visited Mackay Airport twice from Townsville.

DND Aviation Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-FEM departed Gladstone Airport for Redcliffe. It looked to have arrived the previous day.

Brisbane-based Beech 58 Baron VH-VSA visited Emerald Airport from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  VH-VSA did same on Tuesday 6 February and Wednesday 7 February!

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ visited Emerald Airport from Brisbane.

Southern Airlines (Moorabbin) Cessna 404 VH-TTZ flew down from Mackay Airport to Emerald and Quilpie Airports and then back to Mackay Airport. It then flew down to Rockhampton Airport.

After arriving and operating in the region in mid-to-late January, VH-TTZ departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport on Sunday 4 February.

Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VLQ of Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) flew up to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to complete airwork from and back to the Gold Coast.

And recently re-registered Topline Aviation (Sarina) Robinson R44 II VH-LYO departed Rockhampton Airport for the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.  It had flown up to Rocky from the Gold Coast and Bundaberg Airports the previous day.

Manx Jet Management (UK) Dassault Falcon 7X Bizjet M-LJCR Arrives into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 30 January, nice sleek little Manx Jet Management (UK) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet M-LJCR arrived into Hamilton Island Airport.  It flew up from Melbourne (Essendon) where it is pictured arriving last Monday 22 January from Kailua/Kona and Nadi (Fiji).


At the time of writing, it appears that the Falcon 7X is staying at Hamo for at least the night.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 30 January, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" called into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane and later departed to Townsville.

Finally, also on Tuesday 30 January, Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200C King Air VH-PUY as "Machflight 11" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns before it then departed to Brisbane. This afternoon it returned North.

Hughes Aviation (Hughes Pastoral Group) (Gympie) Pilatus PC-12//47E NGX VH-8HP flew down from Tierawoomba to Redcliffe.  Returned to Tierawoomba.

Camden-based Hawker Beechcraft C90GTi King Air VH-TRW arrived into the Whitsunday Airport Shute Harbour from Camden via Roma Airport.

While Airlie Beach based Robinson R66 VH-VVN looked to return home to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour following a long trip away to Victoria.  It flew up from Gladstone Airport.

Rotorco Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel helicopter VH-LDH flew back down from Townsville to Redcliffe via Emerald, Miles and Dalby Airports.  It had flown North at the end of last week.

And late on Monday 29 January, Heli-Aust Whitsundays Airbus Helicopters EC135 P3 (CPDS) VH-ZGP flew down from Hay Point to Gladstone Airport before staying overnight and continuing sown to Roma Airport and then Toowoomba and Ballina all on Tuesday 30 January.

Mineralogy Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express 6000 Bizjet VH-VQN Spotted at Bundaberg Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 4 October, Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Company's Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express 6000 bizjet VH-VQN landed at Bundaberg Airport from Brisbane and then in the afternoon, it departed back to there. 


Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from Bankstown.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 5 October, VH-WIO flew down from Hamilton Island Airport to Melbourne (Essendon) and then back to Bankstown.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane and a bit later departed to Townsville.

While Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY as "Machflight 38" landed at Emerald Airport from then Sunshine Coast.  It then hopped to Theodore Aerodrome. This afternoon it hopped back to Emerald Airport and then back to Sunshine Coast. 

Of interest, late on Tuesday 3 October, VH-SIY as "Machflight 41" flew up from the Sunshine Coast to Rockhampton Airport and then Emerald Airport before returning to the Sunshine Coast.

And fellow McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY as "Machflight 41" flew up to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from and back to Sunshine Coast. 

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 4 October, Austrek Aviation Cessna 310R VH-DZU landed at Moura Aerodrome from Toowoomba and then later returned to there. 

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN also landed at Moura Airport but from Toowoomba-Wellcamp before also later returning back to there. 

The Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville and then departed to Brisbane. 

Byron Bay (NSW) based Cessna 170A VH-JBD arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville and Mackay Airports.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 5 October, VH-JBD departed Rockhampton Airport to Baroco. 

While Sydney based Robinson R44 II VH-YEO arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour before it then departed to Kingaroy. It had come from the Northern Territory over the last week and a half. 

And Stirling Helicopters Bell Helicopter Textron 206L-1 VH-HKC arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Redcliffe and Bundaberg Airports. 

Finally, also later on Wednesday 4 October, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-NKQ as UTY551 arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Horn Island and Cairns. 

Earlier, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-XWT had transponder problems and while operating the VOZ611 flight from Brisbane to Mackay Airport, it turned back to Brisbane from a position near Rockhampton.

Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX Bizjet VH-WIO Pops into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Monday 4 September, Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO flew up from Bankstown to Hamilton Island Airport.  It then flew down to Coffs Harbour and then back to Bankstown.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 4 September, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-ZPY as "Machflight 73" flew up from the Sunshine Coast to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site and then to Townsville. During the afternoon it flew back to Labona where it seemed to be spending the night.



UPDATE!  VH-ZPY as "Machflight 73" flew from Labona to Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday (pictured), Wednesday and Thursday before then flying from Labona to Cairns on Friday 8 September.

Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ as "Navair 173" flew up to Labona from and back to Sunshine Coast.

Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) and Maryborough Airports to Middlemount Aerodrome.  It then flew to Rockhampton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 5 September, VH-TLH departed Rockhampton Airport and flew to Labona and back before it then departed to Lady Elliott Island.

Gulf Aircraft Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-PYO landed at Emerald Airport from Brisbane before then departing further to the North-West.

UPDATE!  It appears that VH-PYO returned to Emerald Airport on Thursday 7 September before then departing back to Brisbane.

Microflite Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-8MF flew down from Shute Harbour to Melbourne (Moorabbin).  It appears to have flown back into Shute Harbour the previous day after heading South-West a couple days prior.

RDO Equipment Co. Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH visited Emerald Airport from Toowoomba.

And Sky Mountain Aviation (NSW) Beech E55 Baron VH-ANR flew into Rockhampton Airport from Bankstown and Orange.  At the time of writing, it is due to return to Orange on Tuesday 5 September.

Finally also on Monday 4 September, several helicopters were noted flying through the region after departing the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour following their very successful annual fly-in and Runway Dinner over the weekend.

Robinson R44 VH-HIX arrived into Rockhampton Airport and then departed to Gayndah Aerodrome. Robinson R44s VH-KNK and VH-NIK, as well as Robinson R66 VH-ESJ and Eurocopter EC120B VH-KHR all flew West from Shute Harbour.  While it appeared Robinson R44s VH-CMS, VH-OLR and VH-HIE all flew West from Daydream Island with them. 

While Gulf Coast Aviation Robinson R22 VH-8GC flew up from Gladstone Airport to Mackay Airport.

Koolardie Aviation (Townsville Helicopters) Robinson R44 helicopter VH-HLM arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport before it then departed to Mackay Airport.
