USA Registered Eurocopter EC 135 P2+ Helicopter N608W Arrives into Gladstone Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 9 October, a nice arrival in the form of USA Registered Eurocopter EC 135 P2+ helicopter N608W landed at Gladstone Airport.  It looked to fly down from the Motor Yacht 'Pursuit' via the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and Mackay Airport.


UPDATE!  On Friday 10 October, after staying for the night parked at Gladstone Airport, N608W was spotted below still parked before it later departed there and flew down to the Sunshine Coast.


Meanwhile, also on Thursday 9 October, Gold Coast-based Cessna T337G VH-ZEO departed the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for its Southport base via Gayndah Aerodrome.  It had flown up to Shute direct from Southport on Sunday 5 October.


Helibiz (Heli Lift) Agusta AW119 MkII Koala helicopter VH-A26 returned to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from a trip up to Cairns.

And Curley Equipment P/L Textron (Cessna) 208B Grand Caravan EX VH-CUY also arrived into Shute Harbour Airport from its Cloncurry base.

Finally, also on Thursday 9 October, Bowenville based (operated by Real Time Aviation - Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ  arrived from Archerfield then departed to Cloncurry Airport.

UPDATE!  On Friday 10 October, VH-JSZ returned to Rockhampton Airport from Cloncurry Airport before continuing to Dalby and Archerfield.

SmartLynx Australia (Skytrans Airlines) Airbus A319-112 VH-L7A 'SKP410' Spotted at Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 26 August, SmartLynx Australia (Skytrans Airlines) Airbus A319-112 VH-L7A as 'SKP410'  arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane. 



At the time of writing, it appears to be staying for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 27 August, SmartLynx Australia A319 VH-L7A now as 'SKP413' departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 26 August, the locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was back in the air departing Mackay Airport for Brisbane. It later returned to the Sugar City.

Air Gold Coast Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-ZDM arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast via the Sunshine Coast.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 28 August, VH-ZDM departed Hamo for the Sunny Coast and the Goldie.

Bowenville based (operated by Real Time Aviation - Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ visited Clermont Aerodrome from Archerfield and Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM visited Clermont Aerodrome from its Gayndah Aerodrome base.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN visited Rolleston Aerodrome from the Sunshine Coast via Injune Aerodrome.

And some Cirrus SR22s in the form of N312GM, VH-82C, VH-84T and VH-CPK all called into Emerald Airport on their way back 'home' from Darwin. 

Finally, late on Tuesday 26 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-005 as "Wallaby 70" completed airwork at Rockhampton and Emerald 
Airports while on a flight out of and back to RAAF Base Amberley.

Fellow C-27J Spartan A34-002 as "Wallaby 62" was also flying about the region and noted completing airwork at Roma Airport.

eair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH Completes Yet Another FIFO Charter Flight to Middlemount Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Monday 7 July, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome.  It was then due to head to Rockhampton Airport but due to fog in the area, it diverted to Emerald Airport before heading back to Hervey Bay Airport.

And Aircrew Training and Support Diamond DA-20-C1 VH-HXX landed at Gladstone Airport from Archerfield and then departed to Roma Airport and back to Archerfield.

UPDATE!  At the end of the week, on Friday 11 July, the Diamond DA-20 VH-HXX visited Rockhampton Airport, arriving from Archerfield and Bundaberg Airport before then departing to Gayndah Aerodrome and then back to Archerfield.

Hughes Aviation (Hughes Pastoral Group) (Gympie) Pilatus PC-12/47E NGX VH-8HP Pops into Charleville Airport - Plus More!

On Monday 2 December, Hughes Aviation (Hughes Pastoral Group) (Gympie) Pilatus PC-12/47E NGX VH-8HP flew from Archerfield to Charleville Airport and then onwards Keeroongooloo and down to Adelaide where it was spotted below.


While Kelsall P/L (Aeronautics and Technology Holdings) Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID visited Rockhampton Airport from Toowoomba.

RDO Equipment Co. Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH flew up from Toowoomba and Archerfield to Emerald Airport before it later returned to Toowoomba. 

Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-8D8 landed at Emerald Airport from Toowoomba.  It is due to return to Toowoomba on Tuesday 3 December.

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEH flew from Brisbane to Oaky Creek Mine and then Clermont Aerodrome and back to Brisbane

Southern Air Beech 1900C VH-VSO looked to complete the weekly visit to Moranbah Airport, arriving from Melbourne (Moorabbin) and Toowoomba-Wellcamp and then departing back to Wellcamp.

Finally, also on Monday 2 December, Southern Cross University (Coffs Harbour) / Eastern Air Link (Port Macquarie) Cessna 337G VH-AEV was noted completing an aerial survey flight out of and back to Gladstone Airport.  


UPDATE!  VH-AEV was photographed on the Gladstone Airport General Aviation (GA) Apron on Tuesday 3 December.

It looked to have arrived at Gladstone Airport mid-last week from Port Macquarie and the Gold Coast and has since completed daily aerial survey flights each time out of the water.

And ZephAir Australia Piper PA-34-220T Seneca VH-YSI as 'ZD440' also seems to be completing aerial survey work in the region once again with it noted flying out of and into various locations last week and again into this week including Gayndah, Emerald, Biloela / Thangool and Rockhampton Airports.

Metro Holdings Australia (Air Link - Dubbo) Cessna 525A CitationJet2 Bizjet VH-EJT Pops into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 20 November, Metro Holdings Australia (Air Link - Dubbo) Cessna 525A CitationJet2 bizjet VH-EJT arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from Archerfield and later departed to Bourke and then Melbourne (Essendon).

While Robindale Group / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport for Bundaberg Airport and then the Sunshine Coast and Orange.  It had arrived two days earlier from those places.

And Deer Jet (China) Gulfstream Aerospace G-V-SP (G550) bizjet B-8255 was due to arrive into Hamilton Island Airport from Sydney but was unable to land due to bad weather and instead diverted up to Cairns.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 23 November, B-8255 flew down from Cairns to land at Hamilton Island Airport.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 20 November, Norair P/L Beech A36 Bonanza VH-PIZ visited Rockhampton Airport from its Townsville base. 

Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM departed Rockhampton Airport for Gayndah Aerodrome yesterday afternoon and then this morning arrived back into Rocky before later departing once again back to its Gayndah Aerodrome base.

Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD visited Moura Aerodrome from Toowoomba. 

NSW-based CJ Aerospace Raytheon B200 King Air VH-EEL landed at Longreach Airport from Toowoomba and then departed to Mount Isa and Borroloola.  It later reversed this flight.  

Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-ZMW flew up from Toowoomba to Winton and then back to Emerald Airport and then back to Toowoomba. 

And Sunshine Coast-based Cessna 210 VH-ORR visited Dysart Aerodrome from its Caloundra base. 

Finally, also on Wednesday 20 November, the Bundaberg Airport based Conair Aerial Firefighting Dash-8-Q400MR C-FFQE "Bomber 141" and Agair Logistics P/L Gulfstream Aerospace (AeroCommander) 695-A JetProp 1000 VH-LMC "Birddog 125" both departed Bundy for Townsville.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 21 November, both C-FFQE "Bomber 141" and VH-LMC "Birddog 125" returned to Bundaberg Airport from Townsville.

New S. Kidman & Co. Pilatus PC-12/47E NGX VH-SKW at Longreach Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 1 August, Pilatus PC-12/47E NGX VH-SKW was noted departing Longreach Airport for Archerfield.  It had arrived the previous day from Fossil Downs Station, Kununurra and Mount Isa.

The brand-new production aircraft was registered to well-known cattle producers S. Kidman & Co. in Brisbane during May and was delivered into Adelaide via Darwin from overseas in early June.

As shown above, the PC-12 was built in Switzerland and wore the test registration marking of HB-FRT (sn 2366) before being placed on the Australian Aircraft Register.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 1 August, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY as "Machflight 421" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Mackay Airport and then departed to Brisbane and then the Sunshine Coast.  It appears to have flown North from the Sunny Coast the previous day.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFC "Ambulance 634" flew down from Townsville to Rockhampton Airport and then Brisbane.  It then flew up Mackay Airport and then to Cairns and then back to Townsville.

Finally, also on Thursday 1 August, Auslink Aviation / Aircrew Training and Support Diamond DA-20-C1 VH-HUU visited Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield via Gayndah Aerodrome.

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from Brisbane.

Victoria based Textron (Cessna) 182T VH-ZJB landed at Longreach Airport from Porepunkah, Victoria and Bourke.

UPDATE!  Over the next 10 days, VH-ZJB continued up to Far North Queensland before returning to Porepunkah from Charleville Airport on Sunday 11 August.

Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON Pops into My Local Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Monday 1 July, Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON flew up from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site but was unable to land so diverted into my local Clermont Aerodrome.

It later departed and successfully landed at Labona before then returning to the Sunny Coast and Archerfield.

Also at Clermont on Monday 1 July was the familiar sight of Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 1 July, Aircair Aviation (Aircair Helicopters) Cessna 340A VH-MPQ landed at Emerald Airport from Moree and then departed to Pinnarendi.

Tillair Services / ACTAS P/L Cessna 208B Caravan VH-POV landed at Bundaberg Airport from Archerfield and then departed to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and Cairns.

Poolhurst Aviation Air Charter Services Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PDE landed at Planet Downs from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 3 July, VH-PDE departed Planet Downs to Archerfield.

Cairns-based Cessna 206 VH-SQX landed at Longreach Airport from Bourke then departed to Mareeba.

Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM departed Hamilton Island Airport for its Gayndah Aerodrome base.  It had flown up from there late last week.

New Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Beech B300C Super King Air 350 VH-8PE visited Bundaberg Airport from Brisbane.

And through the day, Hughes Aviation (Hughes Pastoral Group) (Gympie) Pilatus PC-12/47E NGX VH-8HP flew down from Mackay Airport to Armidale and Tamworth before then flying back up to Archerfield, Bundaberg Airport and then up to Charters Towers Aerodrome and Miranda Downs and then back to Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 2 July, VH-8HP flew out from Mackay Airport to Emerald Airport and then up to Miranda Downs and to Normanton and back to Miranda Downs.

Aerlink Freight ATR 72-212(F) VH-AK3 (Ex 2-PADY) Calls into Rockhampton and Mackay Airports for Training - Plus More!

On Thursday 20 June, a great first-time visitor into Central Queensland was Aerlink Freight ATR 72-212(F) VH-AK3 which flew up from Brisbane to Rockhampton Airport as HT895.  After completing some training, it continued to Mackay Airport again as HT895 where it was to stay for the night.

UPDATE!  On Friday 21 June, after more training, VH-AK3 departed Mackay Airport and returned to Brisbane.

VH-AK3 was delivered in an all-white livery as 2-PADY and was painted at the start of April.  Its visit to the region was to provide training to ground crews for when the Aerlink ATR freighter will take over Qantas Freight services in the next week replacing the Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146 quad-jet services.

UPDATE!  Late on Thursday 27 June, Aerlink ATR 72-212(F) VH-AK3 operated its first freight flight for Qantas Freight, departing Mackay Airport for Rockhampton Airport and then Brisbane as QFA7492/3.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 20 June, Air Link (Dubbo) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SEQ visited Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

While LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" landed at Emerald Airport from Brisbane.  It then departed to Mackay Airport and then to Townsville.

Comet-registered Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-RTC departed Hedlow Airfield to Red Rock Station, Longreach Airport and further West. 

Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM flew from Gayndah Aerodrome to Taroom and then Emerald Airport. 

Air Link (Dubbo) Beech B200 King Air VH-ISS, which had flown up to Cairns from Brisbane this morning, arrived into Rockhampton Airport from there then departed back to Brisbane. 

Brisbane-based Beech 58 Baron VH-VSA visited Moura Aerodrome from Archerfield.

Tillair Services / ACTAS P/L Cessna 208B Caravan VH-POV visited Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

Finally, also on Thursday 20 June, several light aircraft were noted visiting Charters Towers Aerodrome with some ferrying school children home at the end of the school term.

McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Airs VH-NSN as "Machflight 242", VH-ZSY as "Machflight 121" and VH-PUY as "Machflight 73" all arrived from Cairns and departed to Horn Island.

Air Link (Dubbo) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-SEQ Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 13 February, Air Link (Dubbo) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SEQ passed through Rockhampton Airport while flying up from Archerfield and onwards to Mount Isa. It then returned to Rockhampton Airport and then departed back to Archerfield.

And MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from the Sunshine Coast.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 13 February, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK flew down to Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville before later departing to Brisbane. It then flew back up to Townsville and Cairns.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ flew up from Brisbane to Biloela / Thangool Airport before then departing to Kingaroy and then back to Brisbane.

Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200C King Air VH-PUY as "Machflight 55" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Labona before then departing back to there.  It later returned to Rockhampton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 14 February, VH-PUY as "Machflight 55: departed Rockhampton Airport for Cairns.

And Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM visited Mackay Airport from its Gayndah Aerodrome base.

Finally, also on Tuesday 13 February, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-300s VH-QQM and VH-QQL swapped over Rockhampton Airport out at Labona.  Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQL as SKP778/523 flew into Rockhampton Airport from Labona before it departed to Townsville.

Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ and Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM Both Spotted at My Local Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Monday 5 February, there were a couple of nice visitors to my local Clermont Aerodrome including Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ which flew down from 'Natal Downs'.


It later departed to Dalby and Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 6 February, VH-JSZ was back in the region, visiting Roma Airport from Archerfield via Dalby.

And Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM flew up from its Gayndah Aerodrome base via Emerald Airport to Clermont Aerodrome.  It then departed to Emerald Airport and Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 6 February, VH-MYM departed Mackay Airport and returned home to Gayndah Aerodrome.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 5 February, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG flew up from Toowoomba-Wellcamp to Bundaberg Airport.  It then returned to Wellcamp via Kingaroy.

Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VSZ departed Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport for Sydney.  It had arrived into Prosie from Cairns on Saturday 3 February having flown up from Sydney over the previous couple of days.

And Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C bizjet VH-OAA departed Hamilton Island Airport for Melbourne (Essendon) after arriving from there last Friday 2 February.

Finally, also on Monday 5 February, Townsville based (West Wing Aviation / Helicopters Townsville) Beech 58 Baron VH-ABP visited Mackay Airport twice from Townsville.

DND Aviation Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-FEM departed Gladstone Airport for Redcliffe. It looked to have arrived the previous day.

Brisbane-based Beech 58 Baron VH-VSA visited Emerald Airport from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  VH-VSA did same on Tuesday 6 February and Wednesday 7 February!

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ visited Emerald Airport from Brisbane.

Southern Airlines (Moorabbin) Cessna 404 VH-TTZ flew down from Mackay Airport to Emerald and Quilpie Airports and then back to Mackay Airport. It then flew down to Rockhampton Airport.

After arriving and operating in the region in mid-to-late January, VH-TTZ departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport on Sunday 4 February.

Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VLQ of Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) flew up to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to complete airwork from and back to the Gold Coast.

And recently re-registered Topline Aviation (Sarina) Robinson R44 II VH-LYO departed Rockhampton Airport for the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.  It had flown up to Rocky from the Gold Coast and Bundaberg Airports the previous day.

Skydive Australia (New South Wales) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-OZQ Arrives into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour - Plus More!

On Saturday 27 January, Sydney-registered Skydive Australia Cessna 208 Caravan VH-OZQ flew into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from the Woolongong and the Sunshine Coast. This seems to be the first time it has operated in the region for the locally-based Skydiving Airlie Beach.


While down the road at the Lakeside Airpark, fellow Sydney-registered Cessna 208 Caravan VH-FYC ferried up on Friday 26 January from Caloundra for parachuting operations by Airlie Beach Skydiving based at Laguna Quays.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 27 January, Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopter (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-EGK ferried South from Townsville to Archerfield via Rockhampton Airport.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFC "Ambulance 634" flew into Miles Airport from Brisbane.  It then flew to Charleville Airport and the Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport before returning to Brisbane

And Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM visited Rockhampton Airport from its Gayndah Aerodrome base.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" Calls into Rockhampton Airport - Re-Painted!! - Plus More!

On Thursday 16 November, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville. It then departed to Brisbane.


VH-URR "Ambulance 604" is once becoming a regular visitor to the region since it spent time overseas and visiting various Australian cities over the last few months.  It has also been re-painted and was photographed recently at Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport as shown above!

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 16 November, Townsville-based ZephAir Australia Piper PA-34-220T Seneca VH-YSI as "Zedair 440" landed at Biloela / Thangool Airport from Gayndah Aerodrome and then departed to Townsville.

Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LYI flew up from the Gold Coast to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It then flew down to Rockhampton Airport before returning to the Gold Coast.

Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200C King Air VH-PUY arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Labona before later returning out there.  It then flew up to Cairns. 

Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-ZMW landed at Emerald Airport from Toowoomba.  It then departed to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then back to Toowoomba. 

The Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK flew into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville.  It then departed to Brisbane.

And Victoria-based Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain VH-LHF flew down from Hamilton Island Airport for Chinchilla Aerodrome.  It had flown up to North Queensland the previous week.

Finally, also on Thursday 16 November, National Jet Express (formerly Cobham) Dash-8-Q400 Next Gen VH-IYK made its first visit into Rockhampton Airport as it completed the recently started Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) run from and back to Brisbane as JTE392/3.

GBJ Nominees (Navair Flight Operations) Textron (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-IEQ "Navair 123" Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 19 October, GBJ Nominees (Navair Flight Operations) Textron (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-IEQ as "Navair 123" visited Rockhampton Airport from Bankstown.

While McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY as "Machflight 421" visited Hamilton Island Airport from the Sunshine Coast. 

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" visited Mackay Airport from Townsville.


UPDATE!  After some research, this is the first time that VH-URR has been in Central Queensland since December 2022.  It appears to have spent time flying to other parts of Australia and overseas where it has also been re-painted and had 'LifeFlight Singapore' titles added as shown in the photo above which is from May 2023.

And Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ departed Rockhampton Airport for Dalby.  It had arrived into Rocky late on Wednesday 18 October from Natal Downs via Mackay Airport.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 19 October, Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ as "Navair 170" visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield.  It later returned there via the Sunshine Coast.

While AERgO Asset Management Beech B200 King Air VH-XGV as "Navair 173" also visited Labona but from Archerfield via the Sunshine Coast.  It returned to Archerfield direct. 

Austrek Aviation Cessna 310R VH-DZU flew up from Toowoomba to Emerald Airport and then across to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then back to Toowoomba. 

Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-MYM which flew up from Gayndah Aerodrome to Middlemount Aerodrome during the morning, flew down to Rockhampton Airport.  It then returned to Gayndah Aerodrome.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville and then departed to Brisbane. 

Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-ESZ flew up from Townsville from Archerfield via Emerald Airport.  It is believed to have undergone planned maintenance while at Archerfield. 

And at the completion of the Singapore Armed Forces' Exercise Wallaby 2023 (XWB23), the LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA "Guardian 10" flew down from The Glen Airfield within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) to Bundaberg Airport and beyond.

San Marino Registered Aerospatiale AS.350B3 Ecureuil Helicopter T7-SDF 'Sky Dreamwalker VI' Calls into Rockhampton Airport and The Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour - Plus More!

Certainly an interesting and most welcome visitor into the region on Wednesday 11 October was Privately-owned San Marino Registered Aerospatiale AS.350B3 Ecureuil Helicopter T7-SDF.  It flew up from the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Rockhampton Airport where it was photographed below.



After taking on fuel, T7-SDF then continued up to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour where it appears to be staying.

The attractive looking helicopter is named named 'Sky Dreamwalker VI' and has spent many a day spotted on Sydney Harbour on board the luxury yacht named 'Ocean Dreamwalker III'.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 11 October, Business Aviation Solutions Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-JII was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport.  It flew up from Adelaide and then departed to Melbourne (Essendon) and then back to Adelaide.

Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C bizjet VH-OAA visited Moranbah Airport from Brisbane.

Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 VH-HQK as "Navair 141" visited Maryborough Airport during a very busy day of flying out of and back to Dubbo.

Fellow Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ as "Navair 187" departed Mackay Airport for Cessnock and Bankstown.  It had arrived from those places the previous day.

And Metro Holdings Australia (Air Link - Dubbo) Textron Aviation (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SQV flew up from Archerfield and Toowoomba to Gayndah Airport.  It then returned to Archerfield.

Finally, also on Wednesday 11 October, New South Wales-based Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-YGO landed at Bundaberg Airport from Ucharonidge Station and Cloncurry Airport before it then departed to Mungindi and Tamworth.

Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TFB flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome before returning down to Maryborough Airport and back to Hervey Bay Airport. 

And LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA "Guardian 10" came in from Camp Growl at Shoalwater Bay to the Rockhampton Base Hospital before it then departed from there to Bundaberg Airport and then the Royal Brisbane Hospital.  Later in the night, it returned North to then Sunshine Coast and then directly back to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

Bowenville-based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ Pops into my Local Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Friday 23 June, I spotted Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ at my local Clermont Aerodrome.


It arrived from Natal Downs and later departed to Archerfield.

Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ flew into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane before continuing to Townsville.  It then returned back to the capital.

Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO departed Hamilton Island Airport for Bankstown.  It had arrived the previous day.

And Microflite (Moorabbin) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-8MF flew up from its Melbourne (Moorabbin) base to Tooradin and then also into Hamilton Island Airport.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 24 June, VH-8MF departed Hamilton Island Airport for Darwin.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 23 June, locally-based (but Mackay-registered) Mooney M20J VH-NWF flew from Clermont Aerodrome to Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 25 June, VH-NWF returned to Clermont Aerodrome from Mackay Airport.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-XDW flew up from Toowoomba-Wellcamp to Emerald Airport before continuing to Cooktown.

Fellow Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-DYN arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Wellcamp before then departing to Thargomindah then back to and Wellcamp.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville and later departed to Brisbane.  It then returned to Townsville and Cairns.

Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-HLJ looked to fly down from Cairns to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site as HND420 before it then flew across to Rockhampton Airport and back as HND1121/421.  VH-HLJ later returned to Cairns from Labona again as HND1123.

Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM hopped from Gayndah Aerodrome to Moura Aerodrome and then departed to Alpha Aerodrome.  Later, it flew back across to Emerald Airport and back to Gayndah Aerodrome.

New South Wales-based Schofields Flying Club's Piper PA-28 Cherokees VH-ZFN and VH-SFR, along with New South Wales-based Campbell Aviation's Cherokees VH-XCW and VH-XHE flew into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast.  They all then departed to Mackay Airport and then the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

While seemingly on a demonstration tour, Tecnam P2012 Traveller VH-VNV flew up to Mackay Airport from the Sunshine Coast.

And Mackay-based Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel VH-XBO was noted departing Moranbah Airport and heading North.  It seems to have spent recent days operating out of Dalby.

Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 Bizjet VH-LXZ "Navair 131" Calls into Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 18 May, Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ as "Navair 131" visited Mackay Airport from Bankstown and Cessnock.

And slightly out of the region, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG flew up from the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Winton Airport before then returning directly to the Goldie.

Meanwhile, several King Airs were noted around the region, also on Thursday 18 May, including Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD which visited Rockhampton Airport from Toowoomba.

Air Link (Dubbo) Beech B200 King Air VH-ISS flew up from Archerfield to Dooloogarah then Wellclose Stations.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN flew up to Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from its Toowoomba-Wellcamp base via Archerfield.  It is due to return to those places on Friday 19 May.

Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ also flew into Labona but from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast before then returning to Archerfield direct.

Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON also arrived into Labona but from Archerfield direct before it then returned there but via the Sunshine Coast. 

Well played!

Finally, also on Thursday 18 May, Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM flew up from Gayndah Aerodrome to Rockhampton Airport.

And Comet-registered Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-RTC - which had landed at Hedlow Airfield earlier in the week due to inclement weather at Rockhampton Airport - departed there to Lotus Creek.  It was then seen flying down from near Middlemount to Archerfield.

UPDATE!  VH-RTC returned to Rockhampton Airport on Sunday 21 May, again via near Middlemount and Lotus Creek.

Brisbane-based Adome P/L Cessna 525 CitationJet M2 Bizjet VH-YWS Pops into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 18 April, Brisbane-based Adome P/L Cessna 525 CitationJet M2 bizjet VH-YWS was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from its Archerfield base.

UPDATE!  On Friday 21 April, VH-YWS departed Hamilton Island Airport for Orange in New South Wales before it then returned to Archerfield.

While Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ flew up from Archerfield and Dalby to Mackay Airport before then heading out to Natal Downs. 

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 19 April, VH-JSZ departed Natal Downs for Winton and Clermont Aerodromes before then flying back to Dalby and Archerfield.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" flew up from Brisbane to Mackay Airport and then Cairns.  It later returned to Brisbane.  Overnight, late on Monday 17 April, LifeFlight Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" also visited Mackay Airport.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 18 April, Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM flew up from Gayndah Aerodrome to Memooloo, South-West of Blackwater, before then flying across to Emerald Airport.  VH-MYM later returned to Gayndah Aerodrome. 

Re-registered Geeair (Lara, Victoria) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-UJM landed at Barcaldine Airport from Dinah Island before it then departed to Lethbridge Park. 

Brisbane-based 4 Flying P/L Amateur Built Van's RV14A VH-JBR arrived at Rockhampton Airport from Redcliffe and later returned there but via Caboolture.

The Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville before it then departed to Brisbane.  VH-PSK later returned to Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane before departing back to Townsville and Cairns.

Finally, also on Tuesday 18 April, there was the 'usual' Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter movements including DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ which completed its weekly FIFO run from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome and back - direct.

Southern Airlines Beech B200 King Air VH-AMF completed the weekly FIFO charter flight up to Moranbah Airport. It flew up from Latrobe Valley and Bourke to Moranbah Airport before then heading back South to those places and then Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-DYN visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

Hinterland Cessna 208 Caravan VH-ETF departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport as HND470 before then departing to Labona and then back to Rockhampton Airport as HND331/470.

Fellow Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TFQ flew down from Townsville to Mackay Airport and then Labona as HND290/.  It then returned to Mackay Airport and back to Townsville as HND292/3.

And Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air turboprop VH-HJS as HND100/1 and Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TFS HND120/1 both flew down from Cairns to Labona and back to Cairns.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 19 April, VH-HJS did the same flight again.

Robindale Group (Bathurst) / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-CMK Calls into Emerald and Mackay Airports - Plus More!

On Wednesday 15 March, Robindale Group / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK was noted arriving into Emerald Airport from Orange in New South Wales via the Sunshine Coast.

It then departed to Mackay Airport where it appears to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 16 March, VH-CMK departed Mackay Airport and returned to Emerald Airport and then back to the Sunshine Coast and Orange.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 15 March, Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM flew up from its Gayndah Aerodrome base to Rockhampton Airport and then departed to Innisfail and Ingham. Late this afternoon it arrived back into Rockhampton Airport from Ingham. 

UPDATE!  On Thursday 16 March, VH-MYM departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Gayndah Aerodrome.

And Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA returned from Ambilindum via Alice Springs, Longreach and Moura Airports to Archerfield. 

Finally, also on Wednesday 15 March, Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-JES arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site as HND456/311.  It then departed back to Labona as HND320.  Of interest, fellow Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravans VH-MRZ and VH-CVN continue to fly between Rockhampton Airport and Labona.

Homada Pty Ltd Cessna 560XL Citation XLS Bizjet VH-XCU Pops into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 9 March, Homada Pty Ltd Cessna 560XL Citation XLS bizjet VH-XCU was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport.

It flew up from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Melbourne (Essendon) and later returned directly to Moorabbin.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 9 March, several King Air turboprops were noted around the region including Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD which flew up from Toowoomba to Longreach Airport and then Julia Creek.  It then flew down to Emerald Airport and Maryborough Airport before returning to Toowoomba.

Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

As did Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON which also arrived into Labona from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.  It later returned to Archerfield.

While Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM flew up from its Gayndah Aerodrome base to Rockhampton Airport and then Townsville.  It later returned South over the same route.

It also appears that VH-MYM visited Gladstone and Bundaberg Airports over the previous couple of days too.

Edwards Coaches Cessna 441 VH-TAZ flew up from Armidale to Emerald Airport before departing to Archerfield and back to Armidale.

And Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA landed at Moura Aerodrome from Archerfield before then departing to Birdsville and further west.

Local Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 Bizjet N142GZ Back in The Air out of Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 26 January, the locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was back in the air, noted departing Mackay Airport for Sydney.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 26 January, Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

While Royal Victorian Aero Club Cessna 172S VH-LSP flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Rockhampton Airport and then Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  It looks like VH-LSP has spent the last week and-a-half flying up through Victoria and New South Wales after taking off from Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA visited Moura Aerodrome from Archerfield.

And ZephAir Australia Piper PA-34-220T Seneca VH-YSI flew from Mackay Airport to Redcliffe where it then completed a local aerial survey flight before then flying up to Gayndah Aerodrome for the night.  VH-YSI had flown into Mackay Airport from Cairns earlier in the week.

Finally, late on Wednesday 25 January, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was noted visited Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane as "Skyforce 9078/9".
