Jetstar Airways Latest Airbus A320 VH-VFL Touches Down at Hamilton Island Airport

Over the last few months we've posted about Jetstar Airways receiving their new Airbus A320 aircraft and their first visits into Central Queensland Airports - Hamilton Island, Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast, and Mackay Airports.

When Jetstar received its latest A320 - VH-VFL - in mid-February, rumours abounded that this would be the first Jetstar aircraft in Australia to have Airbus's blended 'sharklet' winglets.  Disappointingly for plane spotters, VH-VFL does not have the 'sharklet' winglets.

VH-VFL made its first visit into Central Queensland on Friday 22 March when it arrived into Hamilton Island from Sydney as JST842.
