Two New Skywest Airlines ATR 72-600 VH-FVQ and VH-FVR Enter Service for Virgin Australia Thursday

A great day for first time visits into Central Queensland Airports on Thursday 7 March, with both of Skywest Airlines' recently delivered ATR 72-600 aircraft entering service on scheduled flights for Virgin Australia.

VH-FVQ - which was delivered to Skywest Airlines in Perth in early December 2012 - operated into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane late on Thursday as VOZ1247.  It departed back to Brisbane as VOZ1250.

VH-FVR - which was delivered to Skywest Airlines in Perth in early January 2013 - operated its first flight in and out of Emerald Airport from Brisbane as VOZ1261/1262.  It then operated a return flight to and from Gladstone Airport as VOZ1717/1720.
