Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-003 was caught by Rockhampton plane spotter 'IAD' as it performed a missed approach onto Runway 15 at Rockhampton Airport on Friday 8 March.
The KC-30 was heard to be using the callsign "Dragon 13" and was believed to have flown up from Amberley. The KC-30 made for a spectacular sight from the different vantage point that 'IAD' found himself at!
