A Few Other Bizjets Around Central Queensland Airports Over Last Week

Aside from the lovely pair of bizjets to call into Gladstone Airport last week, there have been a few others to call into various Central Queensland Airports as well over the last few days.

As we posted below, Gladstone played host to Marcplan Charter Embraer EMB-135BJ Legacy bizjet VH-VLT and Gold Coast-based Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign VH-VPL on Thursday 14 November.

Toowoomba-based Light Jets Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 VH-TFW called into Biloela / Thangool Airport on Tuesday 12 November, before heading to Rockhampton on Wednesday 13 November.  VH-TFW eventually departed Rocky for Archerfield on Thursday 14 November.

Also at Rockhampton but on Tuesday 12 November was Shortstop Jet Charter / Melbourne Jets Cessna 550 Citation II bizjet VH-PSM which had a busy day flying from Lismore to Goondiwindi then on to Rockhampton, before departing back to Lismore and then eventually Melbourne (Essendon).

Out at Emerald Airport, what seemed to be a new bizjet to CQ actually turned out to be a regular visitor to Emerald with a new registration.  The bizjet in question was newly re-registered Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra VH-MMC (ex VH-SJP), which touched down from the Sunshine Coast on Monday 11 November.  VH-MMC departed Emerald on Wednesday 13 November, but since returned on Saturday 16 November, and then again departed earlier on Sunday 17 November.

Mackay-based Raytheon 390 Premier 1 N7088S departed its Mackay base for Brisbane last Monday 11 Novemeber and then returned home on Thursday 14 November.  N7088S was in the air again on Saturday 16 November heading to the Sunshine Coast.  It was reportedly towed into a hangar just in time before the massive hail storm that passed through the are late on Saturday.  It is due to arrive back at Mackay from the Sunny Coast later on Sunday 17 November.

Finally, there has been the usual mix of bizjet movements in and out of Hamilton Island.  On Thursday 14 November, Balmoral Air-operated Dassault Falcon 2000EX F-GZLX touched down from Mudgee and Bankstown.  It departed to Bankstown on Friday 15 November.  Also touching down on Hamo on Thursday 14 November was Shortstop Jet Charter British Aerospace BAe-125-1000B VH-LMP, which arrived Melbourne (Essendon).  It departed back there on Saturday 16 November.

On Friday 15 November, MyJet Aviation (of Bendigo) Cessna 551 Citation II VH-JMM arrived at Hamilton Island from Archerfield and Bendigo.  And, Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang VH-PWX called into Hamo on Sunday 17 November from Sydney and Bankstown.

Finally, not a bizjet, but still a corporate aircraft in the form of Raytheon B300 Super King Air N36715 also arrived into Hamilton Island on Sunday 17 November.  It arrived from the Gold Coast, and was scheduled to depart later in the day to Moree.

Another great week!
