On Friday 17 March, McGilvray Aviation (West Wing Aviation) Pilatus Britten-Norman BN2A-21 Islander VH-WQA was noted at Emerald Airport while returning North following a maintenance lay-up in the South East corner.
It seems that the Island was undergoing planned maintenance at Archerfield and it called into Emerald Airport from there before it later departed to Mareeba.
