Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQG Calls into Mackay and Emerald Airports in Support of TC Debbie Relief Efforts
On Friday 31 March, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQG was noted visiting both Mackay and Emerald Airports on a closed charter flight to take emergency service teams down to the Central Highlands district in the wake of severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie.
VH-QQG departed Cairns around dawn and touched down at Mackay Airport as SKP9004. About an hour later, it then flew down to Emerald Airport again as SKP9004. VH-QQG then returned North to Townsville and eventually Cairns as SKP9005.
