Queensland Police Cessna 560 Citation Ultra Bizjet VH-PSU at Longreach Airport Thursday

On Thursday 23 March, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU visited Longreach Airport.  It was only a short visit with the Citation departing for Mount Isa after about 90 minutes on the ground.


Of interest, on Friday 24 March, VH-PSU departed Mount Isa and visited Doomadgee, Karumba and Normanton before returning to Mount Isa.

As mentioned below, the brand new Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C VH-OAA departed Hamilton Island Airport for its Melbourne (Essendon) Airport base also on Thursday 23 March.  It had arrived at Hamo from Essendon on Saturday 18 March.

Finally, on Thursday 23 March, LifeFlight LearJet 45 bizjet VH-CXJ looked to complete a training or post-maintenance flight out of Townsville, eventually landing at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  It later returned to Townsville.

Of interest VH-CXJ later operated a med-evac flight to Darwin using its usual callsign of "Ambulance 452".
