Airways Aviation (Australia) Cessna 172s Complete Airwork at Various CQ Airports This Week - UPDATED!

It's been interesting to note that over the course of this week, up to five Cessna 172s, which are flown by the Airways Aviation (Australia) pilot training academy on the Sunshine Coast, have completed airwork at various Central Queensland Airports, including several practice ILS approaches at Gladstone Airport.  On each occasion, they flew up from and then returned to their Caloundra base.

On Monday 14 October, VH-TEI, VH-VVP and VH-XBM all completed airwork at Maryborough and Gayndah Airports during their flights up to and back from Gladstone Airport, while VH-KZR completed airwork at Gayndah on it way to and back from Gladstone Airport.

On Tuesday 15 October, VH-XBM and VH-TEI completed airwork at Bundaberg Airport while flying up to and back from Gladstone Airport, while VH-KZR flew up and back via Gayndah Airport again.

And on Wednesday 16 October, VH-XBM and VH-TEI were back and joined by VH-JCZ again completing airwork at Bundaberg Airport while flying up to and back from Gladstone Airport, while yet again, VH-KZR flew up and back via Gayndah Airport.

UPDATE!  Over the course of Thursday 17 October and Friday 18 October, all five Cessna 172s mentioned above completed more airwork at CQ Airports with them all again completing practice ILS approaches at Gladstone Airport.

Of interest, these aircraft usually just came up to Maryborough and Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airports on training flights out of and back to Caloundra.
