And a USAF MC-130J Hercules and USMC MV-22B Osprey Also Pop into Rockhampton Airport - A Massive Day of Talisman Sabre 23 Movements!

Finally, also on Friday 28 July, United States Air Force (USAF) Lockheed MC-130J Commando II Hercules aircraft 20-5496 as "Rogue 74" visited Rockhampton Airport, arriving from and then later departing back to RAAF Base Richmond.

Plus some United States Marine Corps (USMC) Bell Boeing MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft were again noted in the region.

MV-22V Osprey 168629 (EP-10) of VMM-265 'Dragons' as "Bowser 32", flew down from the United States Navy (USN) amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6) to RAAF Base Amberley before later returning to the ship later in the day.

While fellow MV-22B Osprey 168243 (EP-00) also of VMM-265 but as "Bowser 31" was photographed visiting Rockhampton Airport during the afternoon, also from the USS America.

At the same time MV-22B Osprey 168687 (YZ-13) of VMM-363 'Lucky Red Lions' was operating near Proserpine as "Dumptruck 11".

Sincere thanks once again to local plane spotter Scott H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
