More Photos as Atlas Air Boeing B747-400 N480MC Departs Rockhampton Airport Saturday Evening

During the evening on Saturday 1 July, the visiting Atlas Air Boeing B747-422 N480MC departed Rockhampton Airport as 'GTI8270' / "Giant 8270" to Honolulu, Hawaii.

As we posted below, late on Friday 30 June, N480MC touched down at Rockhampton Airport from RAAF Base Amberley as 'GTI8269' / "Giant 8269" and had earlier flown across from Honolulu.

Many local plane spotters were out at Rockhampton Airport as the jumbo jet landed and taxied in and parked for the day on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport parking apron.
