Execujet (Taverners Aviation) Raytheon Hawker 800XP Bizjet VH-RIU Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 22 July, Execujet (Taverners Aviation) Raytheon Hawker 800XP bizjet VH-RIU was spotted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

VH-RIU later returned to Brisbane before later departing to Sydney.

McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-SUY as "Machflight 41" flew up from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane to Mackay Airport before then returning directly to the Sunny Coast.

And Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ, which flew North in the morning, flew down from Cairns to Mackay Airport before continuing to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 22 July, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TQW arrived into Longreach Airport from Birdsville.  It had flown out there from the Gold Coast via Charleville Airport the previous day.

UPDATE!  On Monday 24 July, VH-TQW flew across to Rockhampton Airport from Longreach Airport before continuing to Lady Elliot Island and then the Gold Coast.

While after flying up there from Archerfield the previous day, Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA flew from near Moura to Barcaldine Airport and then Alice Springs.  It later returned to Alpha Aerodrome, Emerald Airport and back to Archerfield.

Fellow SOCATA TBM 700 VH-FYN which has only recently been re-registered to Central Highlands Aerial Services (CHAS) flew to Moree and back to its Emerald base.  On Friday 21 July, VH-FYN looked to complete a couple of local flights around its new Emerald base.  It looked to be delivered from the Gold Coast a couple of days prior.

Research also reveals that VH-FYN was previously registered as N700RU and was an occasional visitor into Central Queensland.
