Pionair Becomes Skyforce Aviation and Operates a Freight Run to Mackay Airport

Freight and charter company Pionair has reportedly changed their name to Skyforce Aviation.

Interestingly, as I learned of this change, I was advised that one of their Convair 580F freighter aircraft - VH-PDW - flew into Mackay Airport on Thursday 20 October with a load of mining equipment. The Convair flew Bankstown to Melbourne to Mackay to Bankstown.

(Sistership VH-PDX is pictured above earlier this year also at Mackay Airport.)
