QGAir Rescue (State of Queensland) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopters (Agusta) AW139 Helicopter VH-EGF Ferries North via Emerald Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 30 April, Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopter (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-EGF was noted passing through Emerald Airport heading North from Archerfield to Cairns.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 1 May, fellow QGAir AW139 helicopter VH-EZJ passed through Rockhampton Airport ferrying South from Townsville to Archerfield. 

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 30 April,  McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY as "Machflight 421" visited Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

Pilatus Australia (South Australia) Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet VH-DMS departed Mackay Airport.  It had arrived the previous day.

Gulf Aircraft Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-PYO flew up from Brisbane to one of the Duke Islands North of Stanage Bay and then returned to Brisbane. 

UPDATE!  On Saturday 3 May, VH-PYO completed a similar flight!

NSW based Cessna 310J VH-DKY arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Coffs Harbour and this afternoon departed to Bundaberg Airport. 

UPDATE!  On Thursday 1 May, VH-DKY departed Bundy to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport before returning to Coffs Harbour.

And Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-YSO visited Emerald Airport from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-003 "Wedgetail 05" Completes a Missed Approach at Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 30 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-003 as "Wedgetail 05" flew up to complete a missed approach at Hamilton Island Airport from and back to Williamtown. 


It looked like fellow E-7A Wedgetail A30-005 as "Wedgetail 03" completed a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport on Tuesday 29 April.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 30 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-008 as "Wallaby 11" flew up from Amberley to the coast East of Rockhampton before it then descended to low level and flew down the coast to near Bundaberg then climbed to flight level back to Amberley.

And at least two United States Air Force (USAF) Boeing C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft - 90-0533 and 05-5151 - flying in formation as "Charger", flew up from RAAF Base Amberley at flight level to near Hamilton Island and then turned inland and descended to low level and flew down to between Bluff and Blackwater before climbing up over Blackdown and up to flight level back to Amberley. 



At the same time Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Boeing CC-177 Globemaster III (C-17A) 177704 as "Titan 01" flew South-East from Amberley out to sea and back and late this afternoon was flying around Amberley as "Titan 02".

These Globemasters - along with RAAF C-17s - are involved in Exercise Global Dexterity 25-1 which is being conducted at RAAF Base Amberley between 24 April and 10 May 2025. The interoperability training program is held biannually and designed to rehearse C-17 concentration of force during airborne operations, air to air refuelling and airdrop/airland during semi-prepared airfield operations. 

The 25-1 iteration included participants from Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), United States Air Force (USAF), Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aboard RAAF and USAF C-17 platforms. The RAAF C-17A provides strategic and tactical airlift across the Indo-Pacific region, with its ability to provide short-notice and time-critical airlift support making it essential during humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations

Finally, on Tuesday 29 April, Australian Army Boeing CH-47F Foxtrot Chinook helicopter A15-304 as "Brahman 303" was noted completing airwork around the Whitsundays including at Hamilton Island Airport and Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport while on a flight out of and back to Townsville.

Walgett (Brewon Station) based Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan I VH-FWH Pops into Longreach Airport - Twice! - Plus More!

On Monday 28 April, Walgett (Brewon Station) based  Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan I VH-FWH landed at Longreach Airport from Moree and then departed to Vanrook Station near Normanton.  During the afternoon, it then flew South again via Longreach Airport to Bourke.


Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and Maryborough Airport to Rockhampton Airport and then to Middlemount Aerodrome before then flying back down to Hervey Bay Airport.

And  Rural Funds Management (A.C.T.) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-STE landed at Emerald Airport from Canberra.

UPDATE! On Tuesday 29 April, VH-STE hopped from there to near Rolleston and this afternoon departed there to Bundaberg Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 30 April, VH-STE flew from Bundaberg Airport to Maryborough Airport and Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 3 May, VH-STE departed Hervey Bay Airport for Canberra.

Aero Logistics / Bayswater Road Aerial Surveys Reims Cessna F406 Caravan II VH-AL3 Arrives into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Sunday 27 April, one of the newer aerial survey aircraft to operate in Central Queensland in the form of Aero Logistics / Bayswater Road Aerial Surveys Reims Cessna F406 Caravan II VH-AL3 was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

It looked to complete some aerial surveying at different locations whilst flying up to Rocky.

While BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation Cessna 441 Conquest II VH-EQU landed at Emerald Airport from Tamworth and then departed to Alice Springs. 

UPDATE!  On Monday 28 April, VH-EQU returned to Emerald Airport from Alice Springs before departing to Archerfield.  Over the course of the next few days, VH-EQU was then noted visiting most centres on the coast of Queensland all the way up to Cairns before returning to Archerfield at the end of the week.

And American-registered but seemingly Australian-based Pilatus PC-12/47E (NG) N175NG landed at Blackall Airport from Archerfield and this afternoon departed to Ambalindum. 

Meanwhile, on Saturday 26 April, seemingly Australian based but American registered Eclipse Aviation EA550 Very Light jet (VLJ) bizjet N771MT was noted arriving into Longreach Airport from the Sunshine Coast.  It then flew up to Winton Airport.

UPDATE!  On Monday 28 April, N771MT departed Winton Airport for the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and then back to the Sunshine Coast.

While Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY visited the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Ararat.

Looks like we also missed a similar visit to Shute Harbour - and Roma and Chinchilla Airports - about a fortnight earlier.

And Tindal Air (NT) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-NNA visited Hamilton Island Airport from Archerfield and Brisbane.

Finally, on Friday 25 April, Graham Aviation (Cairns) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-FMZ flew down from Cairns to Hamilton Island Airport.  It looked to return to Cairns and then onwards to Mareeba on Sunday 27 April.

On Thursday 24 April, AirMed Australia (Metro Holdings) (New South Wales) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SQY as "Airmed 984" was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 24 April, Stirling Helicopters Piper PA-23-250 Aztec VH-EQD flew up from Archerfield to Rockhampton Airport before then flying back to Archerfield but via Roma Airport.

Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD visited Rockhampton Airport from Toowoomba and Brisbane.

And McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-ZPY as "Machflight 86" landed at The Old Station farm at Raglan from Cairns via Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport before it then departed to Sunshine Coast.

On Thursday 24April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-004 as "Wedgetail 03" was noted completing airwork, including a missed approach, at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

Pilatus Australia (South Australia) Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet VH-DMS Spotted at Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 23 April, I was at the right place at the right time and managed to spot Pilatus Australia (South Australia) Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet VH-DMS visiting Mackay Airport.  It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to Cessnock.


While McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY as "Machflight 41" was noted departing Mackay Airport to Archerfield.

And Hughes Aviation (Hughes Pastoral Group) (Gympie) Pilatus PC-12//47E NGX VH-8HP also departed Mackay Airport but for Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 April, VH-8HP flew up from the Gold Coast and Redcliffe back to Mackay Airport. 

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 23 April, ZephAir Australia Piper PA-34-220T Seneca VH-YSI as 'ZD440' flew out of and back to Rockhampton Airport and completed aerial survey work during the flight.  It appears the Seneca has been completing aerial survey work in parts of CQ in recent days with it noted flying out of Biloela / Thangool Airport earlier in the week.

Poolhurst Aviation Air Charter Services Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PDE visited Planet Downs from Archerfield. 

And Walgett (Brewon Station) based  Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan I VH-FWH landed at Longreach Airport from Bourke.  It then departed to Vanrook Station. 

UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 April, VH-FWH landed back at Longreach Airport from Vanrook and then departed to Brewon down in New South Wales.

Of interest, the 'new' Caravan was registered in June last year and was previously registered N675TX.

Armidale Fire and Safety Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 Bizjet VH-TFW Pops into Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 22 April, Armidale Fire and Safety Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-TFW flew up from Armidale and Tamworth to Mackay Airport before later flying down to Gympie.

UPDATE!  In early May, VH-TFW was re-registered (operator) to AFS Aviation also in Armidale.

And Bowenville based (operated by Real Time Aviation - Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ landed at Longreach Airport from Archerfield and then departed to Doomadgee. 

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 22 April, Flight One (Services) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-FOJ which landed at Longreach Airport from Archerfield yesterday, departed Longreach Airport for Birdsville and then this afternoon returned to Longreach Airport. 

UPDATE!  Over the remainder of the week and into the weekend, VH-FOJ looked to operate day-flights to a location and back to Longreach Airport.  These places included Eromanga, Bedourie, Muttaburra, Stonehenge, Jundah, Windorah and Isisford.  VH-FOJ returned to Archerfield from Longreach Airport on Wednesday 30 April.

American-registered but seemingly Australian-based Pilatus PC-12/47E (NG) N175NG flew up from Archerfield to Moura Aerodrome Degunnie and then onwards to Mount Isa. 

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 23 April, N175NG flew from Mount Isa to Julia Creek and back during the morning before then departing Mount Isa again to Julia Creek but then down to Longreach Airport. 

UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 April, N175NG departed Longreach Airport to Taylors Plains and then up to Degunnie.  It then flew down to Dalby and then Archerfield. 

Cleveland Bay Aviation Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain VH-XMC flew down from its Townsville base to Rockhampton Airport and then out to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It seems to becoming a frequent visitor to Labona.

And Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-ZSY as "Machflight 55" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Horn Island and then departed to Cairns.

Late on Sunday 20 April, Brisbane-based Adome P/L (Air Link, Dubbo) Cessna 525 CitationJet M2 bizjet VH-YWS was noted arriving into Cloncurry Airport from Archerfield.

On Monday 21 April, VH-YWS was due to fly to Darwin and back but possibly didn't.  It looked to rather fly back to Archerfield from Cloncurry Airport during the middle part of the morning.

Air Gold Coast Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-ZDM arrived into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from the Gold Coast and then departed to Melbourne (Essendon) and back to the Goldie.

While fellow Air Gold Coast Beech 76 Duchess VH-EWL visited the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from Gold Coast. 

Meanwhile, also on Monday 21 April, Victoria based C Alizzi P/L DAHER SOCATA TBM700N 900 VH-TB9 arrived into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Ballarat.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 27 April, VH-TB9 departed Proserpine Airport to Ballarat.

And Southern Air Beech 1900C-1 VH-VSO landed at Longreach Airport from Melbourne (Moorabbin).
 
UPDATE!  On Tuesday 22 April, VH-VSO departed Longreach Airport for Horn Island. It then flew down to Cairns and Rockhampton Airport before flying down to Archerfield. 

Finally, also on Monday 21 April, Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Bell 412 helicopter VH-ESD, which flew down from Horn Island to Coen and Cairns yesterday, arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville.  It had previously operated out of Horn Island with Babcock's other Bell 412EP VH-PXY.

UPDATE!  After being 'stored' for just over a month, on Monday 26 May, VH-ESD flew from Rockhampton Airport to Roma Airport.

American-Registered Gold Coast-Based Cirrus SR22 N978BR Pops into Maryborough Airport - Plus More!

On Friday 18 April, American registered but seemingly Gold Coast-based Cirrus SR22 N978BR visited Maryborough Airport what appears to be its Southport base.


Another Cirrus SR22 VH-83A was noted flying down from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour to Roma Airport and then Camden in New South Wales.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 18 April, Multiquip Poultry / Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100EV bizjet VH-MQX as "Navair 129" flew up to Hamilton Island from Bankstown. 

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 22 April, VH-MQX "Navair 129" departed Hamilton Island Airport for Tamworth and  Bankstown.

While Perri Air / South Burnett Air Services Quest Kodiak 100 VH-8FV landed at Gladstone Airport from Charleville Airport and then departed to Dalby. 

And Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH landed at Gladstone Airport from Thargomindah and then departed to Lady Elliott Island. 

Finally, late on Thursday 17 April, Bowenville based (operated by Real Time Aviation - Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ visited Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

VIP Aviation (A.C.T.) / Australian Corporate Jet Centres (Melbourne) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-EXG as "Envoy 60" Calls into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 17 April, VIP Aviation (A.C.T.) / Australian Corporate Jet Centres (Melbourne) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-EXG as "Envoy 60" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

Clearly, another 'civilian' corporate bizjet being used on the Federal Election campaign.  During the afternoon, VH-EXG "Envoy 60" departed Rockhampton Airport for Warwick. 

AAA Aircraft / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 550 Citation II VH-VDF arrived into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Sydney.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 22 April, VH-VDF finally departed Proserpine Airport and flew back down to Sydney.  It then flew to the Sunshine Coast.

While Autoflight (Brisbane) Beech 58 Baron VH-WSF visited Emerald Airport from Archerfield. Fellow Autoflight Baron VH-WRT visited Barcaldine Airport also from Archerfield. 

Hughes Aviation (Hughes Pastoral Group) (Gympie) Pilatus PC-12//47E NGX VH-8HP, which had landed at Tumbar Station and Taylors Plains yesterday from the West, departed Taylors Plains to Emerald Airport and then Mackay Airport. 

Of interest, over the last week, this aircraft has been West to Kununurra and down to Jandakot and up to Broome and then back East.

And Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE visited Hamilton Island Airport from Cairns.

Executive Jet Management (Europe) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign Bizjet CS-IMP Departs Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 16 April, Executive Jet Management (Europe) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet CS-IMP departed Hamilton Island Airport for Sydney as 'JME680C'.

As mentioned below, the nice looking overseas corporate bizjet had arrived into Hamo from Darwin over the weekend.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 16 April, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX VH-MIF flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome before then flying back down to Maryborough Airport and Hervey Bay Airport.  It appears that VH-MIF had flown back across from Longreach Airport to Hervey Bay Airport the previous day.

Townsville based Cleveland Bay Aviation Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain VH-XMC looked to visit Rockhampton Airport from there.

Geeair (Lara, Victoria) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-UJM landed at Longreach Airport from Lethbridge Airpark in Victoria.  It then departed to Inkerman on the Western side of Cape York. 

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 22 April, VH-UJM landed back at Longreach Airport from Inkerman and then departed back to Lethbridge Park. 

And DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from its Bundaberg Airport base before then flying across to North Curtis Island and back to Rocky and then departed back South to Bundaberg Airport.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 17 April, VH-NPZ arrived into Rockhampton Airport again but from Bundaberg and Gladstone Airports and then again flew to North Curtis Island and back before departing to Bundaberg Airport.  During the afternoon, VH-NPZ again flew from Bundaberg Airport to North Curtis and back.

UPDATE!  On Monday 21 April, VH-NPZ looked to complete similar flights into North Curtis Island - a reported Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.

Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-VSZ at Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 15 April, Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VSZ flew down from Hamilton Island Airport to Sydney.  It looked to have arrived into Hamo the previous day from the New South Wales capital.

While Victoria based Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 VH-VPM flew up to Hamilton Island Airport from Essendon. 

UPDATE!  After almost a week parked up, on Monday 21 April, VH-VPM finally departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Essendon.

And Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-ESZ  arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville and then departed to Archerfield. 

Meanwhile, on Monday 14 April, Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-ESH arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield and then departed to Townsville. 

And American-registered but seemingly Australian-based Pilatus PC-12/47E (NG) N175NG visited Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 April, the PC-12 N175NG did the same flight.

Executive Jet Management (Europe) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign Bizjet CS-IMP Arrives into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Sunday 13 April, a nice overseas corporate bizjet in the form of Executive Jet Management (Europe) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet CS-IMP was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport.  It looked to fly in from Darwin as 'JME680C' and had arrived there from overseas the previous day.

UPDATE!   On Wednesday 16 April, CS-IMP still as 'JME680C' departed Hamilton Island Airport for Sydney.  It looked to head to New Zealand a couple of days later.

While Isle of Man registered Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 bizjet M-CVGL departed Hamilton Island Airport for the Sunshine Coast and then Melbourne (Essendon). As mentioned below, it had arrived into Hamo from the Sunny Coast last Saturday 6 April.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 13 April, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) new Cessna 208 Caravan P2-AFD departed Bundaberg Airport for Mackay Airport and then Mareeba.

Vectra Holdings (Basair) Cessna 206 VH-VDZ visited Bundaberg Airport from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

Plus a classic 1948-built Cessna 195 VH-AVZ was photographed visiting Bundaberg Airport during the week.

Re-Registered Air AP / Australian Corporate Jet Centres Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global 6000 Bizjet VH-AP7 (ex VH-OFX) Calls into CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Friday 11 April, recently re-registered Air AP / Australian Corporate Jet Centres Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global 6000 bizjet VH-AP7 was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from its Melbourne (Essendon) base.  It then hopped down to Mackay Airport where it appears to be parking.

UPDATE!  On Monday 14 April, VH-AP7 departed Mackay Airport and hopped back up to Hamilton Island Airport before it then departed there and returned to Essendon.  It then flew up to the Gold Coast.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 April, VH-AP7 flew up from the Gold Coast back into Hamilton Island Airport.

UPDATE!  On Monday 21 April, VH-AP7 finally departed Hamilton Island Airport and flew back to Melbourne (Essendon).

Of interest, VH-AP7 was re-registered in early March after previously being registered as VH-OFX.  The 2001-built Global 6000 bizjet has previously been registered N888ZP, N889CP, N190WP and C-GJIU.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 11 April, Edwards Coaches Cessna 650 Citation VII bizjet VH-LYM called into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from Armidale and the Sunshine Coast. It then completed a local flight before departing to Kingaroy and then back to the Sunshine Coast and Armidale.

And Australian Corporate Jet Centres Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-SCR as "Envoy 60" continues on the Federal Election hustings, this time departing Winton Airport for Thargomindah and Toowomba-Wellcamp.  It had arrived into Winton Airport from Bathurst the previous day.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail AEW&C A30-006 Missed Approach at Bundaberg Airport - Plus More!

On Friday 11 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport.

A30-006 was flying as "Mitchel 15" and flew up to Bundy from RAAF Base Williamtown. After completing the airwork at Bundaberg Airport, the Wedgetail departed back to Williamtown

Meanwhile, also on Friday 11 April, RAAF Pilatus PC-21 A54-045 as "Tester 66" completed airwork at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

Air Gold Coast Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 Bizjet VH-ZDM Pops into Emerald Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 10 April, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet VH-ZDM was noted visiting Emerald Airport from Sydney.

Jampair P/L (Navair Flight Operations) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E bizjet VH-NSQ as "Navair 131" landed at Emerald Airport from Brisbane.  It later departed to Gladstone Airport and then further to Sydney.

While LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFC "Ambulance 634" visited Emerald Airport from Brisbane.

And American-registered but seemingly Australian-based Pilatus PC-12/47E (NG) N175NG visited Moura Aerodrome from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Friday 11 April, PC-12 N175NG arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield and Gympie and then departed back to Archerfield.

A Pair of RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft Complete Airwork at CQ Airports - A34-004 "Kaos 31" & A34-009 "Kaos 32"

On Thursday 10 April, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft were noted and spotted completing airwork at a couple of Central Queensland Airports.

Spartans A34-004 as "Kaos 31" and A34-009 as "Kaos 32" both flew up from RAAF Base Amberley to complete several circuits at Bundaberg Airport before flying up to Rockhampton Airport where each did several touch-and-go approaches before landing for some time.

A bit later they took off and completed yet more circuits art Rockhampton Airport before both then completed further airwork at Mackay Airport before then landing at Townsville for the night.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 13 April, both Spartans flew back South from Townsville to RAAF Base Amberley via airwork in parts of CQ - A34-004 now as "ASY 522" looked to complete airwork at Bundaberg Airport, while A34-009 now as "ASY 523" seemingly flew directly back to Amberley.

Finally, of interest, on Wednesday 9 April, RAAF C-27J Spartan A34-001 as "Wallaby 30" flew up from Amberley to complete a missed approach at Gladstone Airport and then Bundaberg Airport before then returning to Amberley.

New South Wales Rural Fire Service / Coulson Aviation (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation VH-VJO as "Firescan 201" at Charleville Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 9 April, New South Wales Rural Fire Service / Coulson Aviation (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation VH-VJO as "Firescan 201" was noted visiting Charleville Airport. It looked to arrive from RAAF Base Richmond via Moree and then depart to Bankstown (on a diversion from Richmond).

Research suggests that VH-VJO "Firescan 201" has made three visits to Charleville Airport over the last week.

Also visiting Charleville Airport, also on Wednesday 9 April, was re-registered TJ's Aero Service (SA) / Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ.  It arrived from the Sunshine Coast via Roma Airport and then later returned to the Sunny Coast.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 10 April, VH-LXZ visited Maryborough Airport, arriving from the Sunshine Coast and then departing to Moree and Adelaide.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday 8 April, Aero Professional Services SOCATA TBM700 VH-VSV departed Denison Downs to Archerfield.

Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville then departed to Brisbane.

The Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Beech B300C Super King Air 350 VH-8PH landed at Gladstone Airport from Brisbane and then departed to Miles Airport and back to Brisbane.

Essendon Aviation Services (Victoria) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-VTQ landed at Longreach Airport from Cooktown then departed to Melbourne (Essendon).

And Machjet International Hawker Beechcraft B200 Super King Air VH-8UY as "Machflight 55" landed at Longreach Airport from the Sunshine Coast and is due to depart to Cairns.

Shell Aviation Dassault Falcon 8X Bizjet VQ-BXG Arrives into Gladstone Airport - Plus More!

On Monday 7 April, a nice exotic bizjet in the form of Shell Aviation Dassault Aviation Falcon 8X bizjet VQ-BXG was spotted arriving into Gladstone Airport from Brisbane.  It looked to have arrived from Sri Lanka the previous day.




UPDATE!  On Tuesday 8 April, Falcon 8X VQ-BXG departed Gladstone Airport for Perth.

While Robindale Group / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK flew into Emerald Airport from Orange and the Sunshine Coast.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 9 April, VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport for the Sunshine Coast.

Bowenville based (operated by Real Time Aviation - Brisbane) Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Dalby and then departed to Archerfield.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFA as "Ambulance 614" flew up from Brisbane to Barcaldine Airport and then Rockhampton Airport before continuing to Townsville.

And Nioa Aviation (Avcair) Embraer EMB505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-NJR visited Mackay Airport from Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 7 April, General Aviation Maintenance (GAM Air) deployed their Cessna 208 Grand Caravan VH-UJK on the week-daily freight run from Brisbane to Biloela / Thangool Airport and then Emerald Airport and return - sometimes via Rockhampton Airport.

It is believed that one of the 'usual' GAM Group Dornier 228 aircraft is in the hangar for planned maintenance hence the use of the Cessna 208.

And Cairns-based Air Tours Australia Beech B200 King Air VH-LOA was noted departing Longreach Airport for Cooktown.

Finally, in response to the massive flood event in Central Western Queensland, several interesting aircraft and helicopters continue to be noted visiting different parts and seem to be based out of Charleville Airport.

All noted on Monday 7 April were:  Airbus Helicopters A125 VH-8HK, Beech King Air 200 VH-8UY Machflight 55", Beech 1900C-1 VH-VSO, Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk VH-UHS "Helitack 513", Bell 214ST N745H Quest Kodiak 100 VH-8FV, Boeing CH-47D Chinook N47CU, and Beech King Air 350 VH-SGQ

And finally returning to Townsville following its participation in the Australian International Airshow at Avalon Airport was Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopter A15-302 which flew up from the Oakey Army Aviation Centre to Emerald Airport and then Townsville as "Madcow 351".

American Registered Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E Bizjet N30NB Calls into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Sunday 6 April, American registered but seemingly Australian based Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E bizjet N30NB arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from what appears to be its Warrnambool base via Bendigo.

UPDATE!  On Monday 7 April, N30NB departed Hamo for Mackay Airport before then returning to Bendigo and Warrnambool.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 6 April, Isle of Man registered Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 bizjet M-CVGL arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from the Sunshine Coast.

Mabena P/L (Wagga Air Centre) EADS SOCATA TBM 700 VH-8NX landed at Longreach Airport from Bankstown then departed to Darwin.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X Bizjet A56-003 "Envoy 59" Calls into Longreach Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 5 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-003 was noted visiting Longreach Airport as "Envoy 59".  It arrived from Sydney and later departed to Brisbane.


The Falcon 7X must've brought Australian Federal politicians to town as a part of the Election campaign as it was joined by Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 jet VH-QQX which followed the same route by as "Envoy 20".

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Metro 23 Turboprop VH-VET Spotted at My Local Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Friday 4 April, it was a nice surprise to photograph Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Metro 23 turboprop VH-VET at my local Clermont Aerodrome.


It arrived from and later departed back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 4 April,  Edwards Coaches Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-KXL visited both Maryborough and Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airports while flying up from and back to Armidale via Brisbane.

McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY as "Machflight 421" visited Longreach Airport again from Brisbane.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 5 April, VH-PIY "Machflight 421" departed Longreach Airport for Brisbane.

And Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX VH-MIF landed at Barcaldine Airport from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then departed to Longreach Airport and then Jundah. 

Finally, also on Friday 4 April, Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopters A15-312 and A15-314 were noted passing through Rockhampton Airport while flying up from RAAF Base Amberley to Townsville on their return from the Australian International Airshow at Avalon Airport.

Aerlink ATR 72-500 VH-FVY Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 3 April,  Aerlink ATR 72-500 VH-FVY popped into Rockhampton Airport.  It arrived from and departed back to Brisbane as HT869/870.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 3 April, Metro Holdings / Air Link Beech B200 King Air VH-XDW landed at Mackay Airport from Cairns and then departed to Archerfield. 

The Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Beech B300 King Air 350i VH-8TT landed at Gladstone Airport from Brisbane and then departed back to Brisbane via a missed approach at Miles Airport.

Harris Aviation Charters / Aero-Star Aviation (SA) Beech B300 Super King Air 350 VH-8HA landed at Longreach Airport from Archerfield and then departed to Toowoomba.

And Brisbane-based Adome P/L (Air Link, Dubbo) Cessna 525 CitationJet M2 bizjet VH-YWS flew into Longreach Airport from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Friday 4 April, VH-YWS flew down to Blackall Airport from Longreach Airport before then returning to Archerfield.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft A34-002 "Wallaby 26" Provides Support in Flood Hit Western Queensland - Plus More!

On Wednesday 2 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-002 as "Wallaby 26" was noted completing fuel drops around the flood hit parts of Central Western Queensland.

The Spartan had arrived into Longreach Airport late yesterday and today it flew from there to Windorah and back several times.  It later departed Longreach Airport for RAAF Base Amberley.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 3 April, C-27J Spartan A34-002 again as "Wallaby 26" flew out from Amberley to Charleville Airport and then Longreach Airport. It then took off to complete airwork at Longreach then landed again before departing back to Amberley. 

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 2 April, RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-675 as "Envoy 34" landed at Quilpie from Brisbane and this afternoon flew up to Longreach Airport.

And McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY as "Machflight 421" visited Longreach Airport from Brisbane.

Papua New Guinea Defence Force (Air Element) (PNGDF) Pacific Aerospace (PAC) P-750XL STOL Aircraft P2-702 (ex ZK-EPK) Returns to Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 1 April, Papua New Guinea Defence Force (Air Element) (PNGDF) New Zealand built Pacific Aerospace (PAC) P-750XL Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) aircraft - serial P2-702 was spotted back at Rockhampton Airport.




It was heading home to PNG following being on static display at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon Airport.

P2-702 was again flying as "Kumal 702" and arrived into Rocky from RAAF Base Amberley and is shown then departing to Townsville.  It had flown from Avalon to Parkes and Amberley yesterday.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 1 April, Air Link (Dubbo) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SEQ flew up from Archerfield to Emerald Airport then to Rockhampton Airport and back to Archerfield and on to Bankstown.

Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VLQ of Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) visited Rockhampton Airport from Caloundra.

And Edwards Coaches Cessna 441 Conquest II VH-8BE landed at Bundaberg Airport from Dubbo and this arvo departed to Tenterfield.

Finally, also on Tuesday 1 April, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-TFB was noted operating out of Longreach Airport to surrounding places.  It had arrived yesterday from Charleville Airport and today flew to Windorah and Jundah and then back to Longreach Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 2 April, VH-TFB landed at Emerald Airport from Longreach Airport and this arvo returned to there.

Australian Corporate Jet Centres Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-SCR at CQ Airports on Federal Election Duties - Plus More!

On Tuesday 1 April, Australian Corporate Jet Centres Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-SCR was noted once again transporting important people during this Federal Election Campaign.  It looked to fly up to Mackay Airport from Melbourne (Essendon) before then flying down to Rockhampton Airport as shown.  VH-SCR was heard to use the radio callsign of "Envoy 60".


UPDATE!  On Wednesday 2 April, VH-SCR as "Envoy 60" departed Rockhampton Airport for  Bundaberg Airport.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 3 April, VH-SCR as "Envoy 60" departed Bundy for Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.  It then continued to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also at Mackay Airport, also on Tuesday 1 April, was Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-002 which landed from Brisbane as "Envoy 01".  It then departed to Winton Airport and Brisbane as "Envoy 28".

And RAAF Dassault Falcon 7X A56-003 as "Envoy 27" flew up from Canberra to Charleville Airport and Cunnamulla Aerodrome.  It then flew up to Winton Airport and later departed to the South.
