Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 Bizjet VH-LXZ Calls into Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 31 March, Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ was noted visiting Mackay Airport.

It looked to fly up from and then later return to Bankstown via Maitland.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 31 March, Robindale Group (Bathurst) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport for Biloela / Thangool Airport and then the Sunshine Coast and Orange in New South Wales.  It had arrived into Emerald Airport from all of those places the previous day.

Finally, also on Thursday 31 March, Thomson Airborne Geophysical Survey Cessna 208B Caravan VH-JOZ looked to pop into my local Clermont Aerodrome while flying up from the Sunshine Coast to Georgetown.

Recently re-registered Aircraft Australia PA-31/A1 Navajo VH-WHE flew up from Redcliffe and Toowoomba-Wellcamp to Middlemount Aerodrome and then Emerald Airport.  It later returned to Wellcamp and then Redcliffe

While Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY was noted flying down from Charters Towers Aerodrome to the Sunshine Coast.  It had flown up the previous day.

And at Bundaberg Airport, ZephAir Australia - Aircraft Charters Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-AYT visited from Townsville.  And locally-owned Aero Optics (General Aviation Maintenance operated) Aero Commander 500-S VH-JAJ completed a local aerial survey flight out of and back to Bundaberg Airport before then departing down to Archerfield.  It had arrived into Bundy from completing survey flights around Mackay Airport from the start of the week.

Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-035 "Destrier 101" Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 31 March, Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-035 was spotted passing through Rockhampton Airport.




The MRH-90 looked to arrive from the Oakey Army Aviation Centre, and after taking on fuel, it continued up to Townsville.

A40-035 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Destrier 101" - the same callsign as yesterday's MRH-90 but for a different airframe!

Meanwhile, a couple of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft were noted completing airwork at different parts of the region, also on Thursday 31 March.

Spartan A34-007 "Kaos76" flew out of RAAF Base Amberley and completed airwork at Bundaberg Airport.  It then returned to Amberley via more airwork at Oakey.

While Spartan A34-010 "Kaos77" looked to fly out of Amberley and complete airwork at Miles and Kingaroy Airports before returning to Amberley.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" Pops into Rockhampton Airport

During the late afternoon on Thursday 31 March, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

After over two hours on the ground, VH-URR "Ambulance 604" departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Brisbane.

Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-005 "Destrier 101" Pops into Rockhampton Airport

On Wednesday 30 March, Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-005 was noted passing through Rockhampton Airport.

The MRH-90 looked to arrive from Townsville, and after taking on fuel, it continued down to the Oakey Army Aviation Centre.

A40-005 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Destria 101".

Local Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 Bizjet N142GZ Back in The Air out of Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 30 March, the locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was back in the air, noted departing Mackay Airport for Brisbane.

After spending some time on the ground, N142GZ departed Brisbane in the early afternoon and returned to Mackay Airport.

While Victoria-based Beech 35-C33 Bonanza VH-OKL departed Mackay Airport for Roma and Dubbo Airports, also on Wednesday 30 March.  It looks to have flown up from Melbourne (Moorabbin) to Townsville over the previous couple of weeks with it now popping Mackay Airport while possibly heading home.  It also looks to have also called into Bundaberg and Rockhampton Airports during its travels.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 31 March, VH-OKL completed its journey and returned to Moorabbin.

And Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport once again.  This time it arrived from Archerfield and Dalby before later departing to Natal Downs.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 31 March, VH-JSZ returned to Rockhampton Airport from Natal Downs before it continued back down to Dalby and Archerfield.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 30 March, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH flew into Middlemount Aerodrome from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport before later flying back to Hervey Bay Airport via Maryborough Airport.

Finally, also on Wednesday 30 March, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQC departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport as SKP795 before then flying three return flights to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site and back to Mackay Airport. 

UPDATE!  On Thursday 31 March, VH-QQC departed Mackay Airport for Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport and Cairns as SKP76/86.

And fellow Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQG arrived into Rockhampton Airport as SKP87 from Cairns and Proserpine Airports before it then completed a run to Labona and back to Rockhampton Airport as SKP777/8.  VH-QQG then returned to North to Proserpine and Cairns Airports as SKP88.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" Completes Two Visits to Gladstone Airport

On Tuesday 29 March, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" was noted completing two visits to Gladstone Airport.

It originally touched down during the latter part of the morning from Brisbane before returning there in the early afternoon.  VH-URR "Ambulance 604" then made another visit from Brisbane during the early evening.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft A34-001 "Kaos 74" Spotted Back at Rockhampton Airport

On Tuesday 29 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-001 "Kaos 74" was again spotted completing airwork at Rockhampton Airport after it flew back down from Cairns.


After arriving from the Far North, it completed airwork at Rocky including several missed approaches and touch-and-go circuits.  The Spartan then landed for a period of time.

After the sun had gone down, A34-001 "Kaos 74" completed some taxi exercises and then eventually departed Rockhampton Airport for RAAF Base Amberley.

McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 Bizjet VH-PIY at Mackay Airport - Plus More!

Late on Monday 28 March, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International recently delivered Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY was noted arriving into Mackay Airport from Darwin (pictured) and Mount Isa.

Then on Tuesday 29 March, VH-PIY departed Mackay Airport for Archerfield.

Also on the area, also on Tuesday 29 March, Jampair P/L (Navair Flight Operations) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E bizjet VH-NSQ flew down from Hamilton Island Airport to Bankstown.  It had arrived into Hamo from there on Sunday 27 March.

Avcair (Capital B Aviation Services) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-OLJ was noted visiting Longreach Airport.  It looked to arrive from Brisbane and Mount Isa before it then departed back to Brisbane.

And Gulf Aircraft (SGPG Air) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-PYN flew up from Brisbane to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport where it completed a missed approach before it then flew over water towards Bundaberg Airport where it then looked to complete several circuits and eventually a landing.  A bit later it departed back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 29 March, and after arriving the previous day, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ departed Rockhampton Airport for Cairns as 'SFZ644' / "Skyforce 644".  We assume it is completing one of the regular school-kids charter flights to Far North Queensland.

Finally, also on Tuesday 29 March, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.

And Zauner Aviation Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-FMM visited Hamilton Island Airport from its Albury base.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft A34-001 "Kaos 74" Completes Airwork at Roma and Rockhampton Airports

On Monday 28 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-001 was noted and spotted completing airwork at a couple of Central Queensland Airports.





It was noted to be flying as "Kaos74" and looked to fly up from RAAF Base Amberley and complete airwork at Rom Airport before then flying up to Rockhampton Airport where it was spotted (above) completing more airwork before it eventually landed. 

A little while later, the Spartan then departed Rockhampton Airport and departed to overhead Mackay and then more airwork at Hughenden Airport before it then continued up to Cairns.

As shown A34-001 still wears additional decals to commemorate the RAAF's 100th anniversary.

MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign VH-MMC Calls into Labona at the Carmichael Mine - Plus More!

On Monday 28 March, MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC was noted visiting the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to its Sunshine Coast base.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 28 March, Auscott P/L Beechcraft B200GT King Air VH-NMW arrived into Emerald Airport after flying up from Toowoomba and the Gold Coast.  It then departed to Pinnerandi and Cairns.

While Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) VH-VEP visited Theodore Airport from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.  And  Link Airways Metro 23 VH-VET was noted flying the Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) service to Biloela / Thangool Airport from Brisbane and back.  There appears to be no more Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) flights to Mackay, Emerald and Clermont Airports.

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ flew up from Brisbane to Collinsville Aerodrome and then the Newlands Mine Site before it then flew into Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 29 March, VH-VEJ departed Mackay Airport and returned to Newlands and then Brisbane.

And Skytrans Dash-8-100  VH-QQC arrived into Rockhampton Airport direct from Cairns - bypassing Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport - as SKP85 before it then completed a FIFO charter flight to Labona and back to Rockhampton Airport as SKP771/2.

Finally, late on Sunday 27 March, Avcair (Capital B Aviation Services) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-OLJ was noted visiting Emerald Airport.  It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to Brisbane.

Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ Arrives into Rockhampton Airport

On Monday 28 March, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.

The passenger-configured aircraft touched down from Bankstown as 'SFZ9026' / "Skyforce 9026".

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SAZ is remaining at Rockhampton Airport for at least the night.

UPDATE!   On Tuesday 29 March, VH-SAZ departed Rockhampton Airport and headed up to Cairns on what looks like one of the 'regular' school kids charter flight.

VH-SAZ was acquired by Pionair Australia in late 2017 after it previously was operated by Titan Airways in the United Kingdom as G-ZAPK. The BAe 146 arrived in Australia in early 2018 and has completed several other closed tourist charter flights and Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights, before spending some time in Western Australia operating for Cobham Aviation.

New Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100EV Bizjet VH-MQX Pops into Emerald Airport - Plus More!

On Sunday 27 March, a nice new bizjet on the Australian scene in the form of Multiquip Poultry / Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100EV bizjet VH-MQX was noted visiting Emerald Airport.


It looked to fly up from Bankstown and then continue up to Cairns where it was photographed touching down.

VH-MQX then flew back South from Cairns to Moree, the Shellharbour Airport at Wollongong and then back to Bankstown.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 27 March, Jampair P/L (Navair Flight Operations) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E bizjet VH-NSQ flew into Hamilton Island Airport from Bankstown.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 29 March, VH-NSQ departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Bankstown.

While at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-MWZ and Raytheon B200 King Air VH-NSN were both spotted visiting while completing a closed charter flight.  They arrived from Cairns and then both departed to Lizard Island.





And Hinterland Aviation Cessna  208 Caravan VH-NDC was also spotted at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.  It too arrived from Cairns and later departed to Lizard Island, flying as 'HND626'.


Finally, also on Sunday 27 March, Cessna 208 Caravan VH-OAI which is owned by the Skydive the Beach Group in New South Wales, flew down from Tully to Roma Airport and then the Shellharbour Airport at Wollongong.

As mentioned below, sistership VH-DZQ flew North to Tully the previous day.

And Tex Onsite (Tex Assets P/L) Aero Commander 500-U VH-TXE took to the air once again out of Rockhampton Airport.  It flew to Gladstone Airport and then back to Rocky.

Qantas / QantasLink Boeing B717-200 VH-NXH Spotted Operating First Ever Flight to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport

On Sunday 27 March, Qantas / QantasLink looked to increase seat and cargo capacity into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport quite substantially with the introduction of services into the Whitsundays by their Boeing B717-200 aircraft.


B717-200 VH-NXH had the honour of operating the QJE1700/1 service arriving from and later departing back to Brisbane.

The arrival of the 110-seat two-class or 125-seat all economy aircraft comes as a replacement to QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 flights to Proserpine Airport also from the capital which commenced in September last year.

It is believed that the upgrade of equipment will be on a daily basis.

Recently Delivered Air Link (Dubbo) Textron Aviation (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-SQV Pops into CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Saturday 26 March, recently delivered Metro Holdings Australia (Air Link - Dubbo) Textron Aviation (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SQV was noted and spotted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports.  It looked to fly up from Melbourne (Essendon) to Roma Airport before being spotted at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.



At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SQV is staying at Shute Harbour for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Monday 28 March, VH-SQV departed the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and returned down to Roma Airport before continuing to Mildura in Victoria and then its Bankstown base.

Of interest, VH-SQV arrived into Australia at Bankstown in early February after a week-long delivery flight from Canada.

Out on Hamilton Island, also on Saturday 26 March, Poolhurst Aviation Air Charter Services Pilatus PC-24 jet VH-VTF was noted flying into Hamilton Island Airport from Archerfield and the Gold Coast.  It later returned direct to Archerfield.

Meanwhile down the road at Mackay Airport, also on Saturday 26 March, Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY looked to visit.  It flew up from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Melbourne (Essendon), Yarrawonga and Roma Airports.  It then returned to Yarrawonga and Essendon.

It also seems that VH-WMY visited Roma Airport on Thursday 24 March.

While also visiting Mackay Airport was Sydney-based JJ Air Textron (Cessna) 208 Amphibious Caravan VH-JLK.  It looked to fly down from Cairns and then later depart to the Sunshine Coast and Bankstown.


It seems that VH-JLK flew North from Bankstown to Cairns late last week - it was spotted above parked on the General Aviation (GA) Apron at Cairns.

And Skydive the Beach Group (New South Wales) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-DZQ passed through Rockhampton Airport while flying up from Lake Macquarie and the Ballina / Byron Bay Gateway Airports to Tully where it is assumed it will commence skydiving operations.

Finally, also on Saturday 26 March, Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY was noted visiting Moranbah Airport from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

ConocoPhillips Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP (G550) Bizjet N795CP Spotted at Gladstone Airport - Plus More!

On Friday 25 March, ConocoPhillips Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP (G550) bizjet N795CP was spotted on the ground visiting Gladstone Airport.


The sleek Gulfstream looked to arrive from and then later depart back to Brisbane.  It looked to have arrive in the country at the Queensland capital at the start of the week.

Of interest, ConocoPhillips is an oil and gas exploration and production company with its corporate headquarters located at Houston, Texas.  It has a number of onshore and offshore operations in Australia including at Gladstone.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 25 March,  Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEP visited Emerald Airport from Brisbane - it did not come up to my local Clermont Aerodrome.  Link Airways Metro 23 VH-VEU visited Mackay Airport also from Brisbane.  And Metro 23 VH-VET completed the Airline's Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) flight from Brisbane to Biloela / Thangool Airport and back.

McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Takes Delivery of Two New Cessna Citation Corporate Bizjets - VH-SUY and VH-PIY

Also on Thursday 24 March, spotted making its first appearance in Central Queensland, was McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International recently delivered Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY.


It looked to be completing a crew training flight, flying up from and then later returning to its Sunshine Coast base.

VH-PIY was delivered to the company only the day before, with it flying up from Bankstown via the Ballina / Byron Bay Gateway Airport.  It is believed that the Citation was preciously registered F-ONCP to Noumea Jet Services.

Meanwhile, at the start of the month, McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International also took delivery of Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 bizjet D-ILDL at the Sunshine Coast Airport base after ferrying in all the way from Dusseldorf in Germany.  It will reportedly be placed on the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-SUY.



Nice one! Onwards and upwards to a well known and trusted operator in Queensland!

On Thursday 24 March, Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ was photographed as it departed Hamilton Island Airport for the Gold Coast.

It had arrived from Bankstown and Maitland on Saturday 19 March.

UPDATE!  On Friday 25 March, VH-LXZ continued from the Gold Coast back to Maitland and then Bankstown.

While arriving into Hamilton Island Airport, also on Thursday 24 March, was Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG It looked to fly up from the Gold Coast.

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-CDG is staying on Hamo for at least the night.

And Agile Aviation (South Australia) new PC-12/47E VH-TCP popped into Hamilton Island Airport, arriving from Albury and then departing all the way down to Adelaide in South Australia.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 24 March, Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD popped into Monto Aerodrome, arriving from Toowoomba and departing to Townsville.

Fellow Austrek Aviation Cessna 310R VH-DZU departed Rockhampton Airport for Caloundra and Toowoomba.  It arrived from Broken Hill and Blackall Airports the previous day.

And And Perth-based Lanstal P/L Hawker Beechcraft B200GT King Air VH-EWJ, which landed at Monto Aerodrome on Monday 21 March, departed there for Mount Isa and Broome.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules A97-449 "Trojan 36" Missed Approach at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 24 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft A97-449 was noted completing a missed approach at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.


It looked to be flying as "Trojan 36" and came up from RAAF Base Richmond to Prosie where it completed a missed approach before heading West and overflying Collinsville.  It then continued up to Cairns where it was photographed arriving during the late afternoon.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 24 March, fellow RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-004 was noted completing airwork at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

It was flying as "Wedgetail 20" and looked to fly up direct from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete the airwork at Hervey Bay.  It then flew back South and looked to return directly back to Williamtown.

Two LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair Challenger 604 Air Ambulance Bizjets VH-OFA & VH-OFB Both Call Into Various CQ Airports

Late on Wednesday 23 March, and into Thursday 24 March, a pair of LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 aero medical bizjets were both noted visiting some Central Queensland Airports.

VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" departed Townsville late on Wednesday for Cairns and then Longreach Airport.  It then departed to Brisbane before then flying into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport in the wee small hours of Thursday.  VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" then departed Prosie for Townsville.

While VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" was back in CQ, visiting Mackay Airport on Thursday afternoon.  It arrived from Brisbane and departed to Townsville.

Bowenville-based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ Back in CQ Again and Spotted at Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 23 March, Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ was spotted visiting Rockhampton Airport.


It looked to arrive from Archerfield and Dalby and then later depart to Natal Downs.

VH-JSZ then returned down to Dalby and Archerfield.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 23 March, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-TFB continued to fly around the region, this time departing Gladstone Airport and heading north to complete survey work off-shore before then landing at Mackay Airport.  VH-TFB then headed back to Gladstone Airport before then departing to the Gold Coast.

While the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK flew down from Cairns to land at Rockhampton Airport. It then returned North to Townsville before then heading back to Cairns.


Austrek Aviation Cessna 310R VH-DZU arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Broken Hill and Blackall Airports.  It seems to be on a closed charter after departing its Toowoomba base earlier in the week.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 March, VH-DZU departed Rockhampton Airport for Caloundra and Toowoomba.

Finally, also on Tuesday 22 March and Wednesday 23 March, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100s VH-QQI and VH-QQF were spotted visiting Rockhampton Airport respectively during some busy days of flying.




VH-QQI had arrived into Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 22 March from Townsville and the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It then completed flights between Rocky and Labona and then Mackay Airport and Labona on Wednesday before then departing Mackay Airport for Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and Cairns Airports.

While on Wednesday, VH-QQF flew down from Cairns to Proserpine and Rockhampton Airports before it completed flight to Labona and back to Rocky.  It then returned to Proserpine and Cairns Airports.

And also spotted at Rockhampton Airport, also on Wednesday 23 March, was Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravans VH-LZK and VH-CVN which have been completing the airline's week-daily closed Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights between Rockhampton Airport and Labona.

LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" Spotted at Rockhampton Airport

On Wednesday 23 March, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" was spotted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.



After around four hours on the ground, VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" departed Rockhampton Airport and returned back to Brisbane.

A Pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) VIP 34 Squadron Transport Bizjets Pop into CQ Airports - PM Morrison in Town!

On Wednesday 23 March, there was a nice pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) VIP 34 Squadron aircraft that were spotted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports.



Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-002 was on the ground at Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to arrive from Townsville, after arriving there from Brisbane and Cairns the previous day.

A36-002 was noted carrying Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, with 'ScoMo' later boarded the RAAF BBJ and departed Rockhampton Airport for Melbourne (Tullamarine).  Of interest, A36-002 was heard to be flying as "Envoy 15".





Of further interest, fellow RAAF B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 also visited Cairns but from Canberra, arriving on Tuesday 22 March and departing on Wednesday 23 March.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 23 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-002 arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Canberra before then continuing to Emerald Airport where it looked to be spending the night parked.  It was heard to be flying as "Envoy 26".








UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 March, A56-002 "Envoy 26" departed Emerald Airport for Brisbane, Tamworth and Canberra.
