Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 Bizjet VH-TEY Calls into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Friday 16 July, Brisbane-based Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-TEY was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to arrive from and then later return to its Archerfield base.

Also on noted visiting Rockhampton Airport, also on Friday 16 July was Awesome Aviation (of Perth in Western Australia) Beech 1900D VH-JYA.  It arrived from Cairns and Townsville and then departed to Brisbane.

Torrens Creek (Hughenden) based SOCATA TBM700 VH-CEA completed a flight from Rockhampton Airport to Townsville and back.

It had arrived in Rocky from Muttaburra on Wednesday 14 July.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 18 July, VH-CEA departed Rockhampton Airport for Townsville.

While also on Friday 16 July, the 'new' Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) (Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia) Agusta S.P.A. AW139 Helicopter VH-YXR was operating around Rockhampton Airport now wearing full sponsors stickers.


And fellow Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Agusta AB412 (Bell 412) VH-LSV became the 17th helicopter to land on the Rockhampton Base Hospital pad when it landed there following what looked to be a local flight.


There are reports that VH-LSV will soon be moving interstate.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 16 July, Pilatus Aircraft PC-24 'Super Versatile Jet' corporate bizjet VH-FGM flew up to Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.  It then departed to Mount Gambier and Albury.

Finally, also on Friday 16 July, Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 VH-WXN departed the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site for Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport.  It had arrived the previous evening on what is its weekly visit.

While on Thursday 15 July, Air Link Beech B200 King Air VH-ZOS was noted visiting the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It flew up from Archerfield via the Sunshine Coast and later returned South over the same route.

And Peckal Aviation Piper PA-31-350 Navajo VH-TRA flew into Bundaberg Airport from Goondiwindi and Tamworth before it later returned to Goondiwindi.
