German Cessna Citation BizJet at Hamilton Island Airport This Week - Plus a Quick Look in the ATC Tower!

Aviation enthusiasts are always welcome to contribute to the Central Queensland Plane Spotting Blog, and it comes with great delight that we welcome Jimi L onboard, who will provide some more photos and news of traffic and events in the Whitsundays.

One of his first contributions comes from a recent trip to Hamilton Island Airport, where Jimi spotted a visiting German-registered Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet. The aircraft - registered to Voyage Air as D-CBAY - flew into Hamilton Island on Monday 16 April, and departed on Thursday 19 April for Cairns.

While Jimi was at Hamilton Island Airport, he even managed to pop into the Airport Control Tower for a quick look and couple of photos.

The beautiful sun-dreched views out the tower's window of the islands of the Whitsundays certainly make it look like a very nice place to work!

Thanks Jimi!
