More About Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 VH-ZPN at Gladstone Airport This Week

The first ever visit of a Virgin Australia jet to Gladstone Airport this week could lead to more jet services to the rapidly growing Gladstone-area.

Embraer E-190 VH-ZPN (in Pacific Blue colours) touched down on Tuesday 12 June to launch the faster and higher capacity Virgin Australia services between Brisbane and Gladstone.  The 'route-proving' flight on Tuesday should hopefully lead to the introduction of more jet services in the coming months - with the possibility to bigger capacity Boeing 737 to operate some services in the future.

According to the Virgin Australia website, the next jet service to touch down at Gladstone Airport is expected on Saturday 30 June.
