Virgin Australia (Pacific Blue) Embraer E-190 VH-ZPN Touches Down at Gladstone Airport

Virgin Australia has launched jet services to Gladstone Airport on Tuesday 12 June, with Embraer E-190 VH-ZPN touching down mid-morning as DJ1711 from Brisbane.

Disappointingly, VH-ZPN wears old colour scheme of Pacific Blue - Virgin's New Zealand-based off-shoot airline that flys services from Australia to destinations throughout the Pacific - spotters were hoping to see one of the three Embraer E-190 jets that actually wear the Virgin Australia livery!

VH-ZPN eventually departed back to Brisbane as DJ1712, marking the start of (hopefully) more frequent visits by jets on the Virgin Australia services into Gladstone!

PS...  A quick look at Virgin's schedules suggests another is planned for Saturday 30 June.
