A Couple of Photos from Sunday Afternoon at Gladstone Airport

Michael F ventured to Gladstone Airport on Sunday 10 March and sent through some lovely images of some of the afternoon's movements including the new locally-based CareFlight Rescue Helicopter - Bell 412EP VH-XCY - as it returned from a flight.

QantasLink Dash-8-Q300 VH-TQK was photographed as it taxiied out for departure, and then as it rolled down Gladstone's Runway 10.

Calliope-based Mooney M20F VH-WBH was also spotted departing.

A little later, QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 VH-NXJ was photographed by Michael as it taxiied out and departed Gladstone bound for Brisbane.

Lastly, we mentioned previously that RA-Aus flight training has commenced at Gladstone Airport recently.

John-Jon Roberts of 'Gladstone Flying Training & Air Charter' has started the training in Aeroprakt A22 Foxbat 24-4270.  Michael managed a quick photo of 24-4270 as it made a very steep ascent away from Gladstone Airport - some excellent climb performance in that aircraft!

John-Jon’s contact phone is: 0408 984 007

Thanks Michael for the great photos!
