A Couple of Interesting Visitors to Mackay Airport Tuesday - Qld Gvt Hawker 850XP VH-SGY & FIFO Jet Metro VH-SSV

It was interesting to note that late on Tuesday 7 October, the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY arrived into Mackay Airport from Brisbane.  It departed back to capital a few hours later.

Also calling in late on Tuesday 7 October was FIFO Jet (of Brisbane) Metro II VH-SSV which called in from Archerfield.  It appears that VH-SSV may still be parked at Mackay.

Meanwhile, on the commercial front, Jetstar Airways continue to send their special-coloured Airbus A320 aircraft - VH-VGF and VH-VFN - into Mackay.  Both aircraft have been noted operating the JST894/895 service to Mackay from the Gold Coast and back, with VH-VGF calling in on Sunday 5 October and VH-VFN calling in on Tuesday 7 October.

Finally, in the early hours of Monday 6 October, Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 VH-CXJ was noted calling into Mackay from Brisbane.  It later departed to Townsville.
