After staying for the night, VH-MMC returned to the Sunny Coast on Wednesday 4 November.
Meanwhile, the series of weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights by Alliance Airlines and Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) (Skywest Airlines) continued with Alliance Fokker F-70 jet VH-JFB noted calling into Emerald three times over Monday 2 November and Tuesday 3 November, while VARA Fokker 50 VH-FNF called in late on Tuesday 3 November and again on Wednesday 4 November.
Of interest, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-JFB also operated a flight into Emerald Airport on behalf of QantasLink on Monday 2 November as UTY2630/2631 from and back to Brisbane.
There has also been several interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft that have been noted calling in and out of Emerald Airport over the course of this week with
Cessna U206G Stationair VH-UBP stopping in for fuel on Monday 2 November while flying from Archerfield to what looks to be its new home at Mareeba Airport. VH-UBP has recently been re-registered and has previously been operated in West Australia by King Leopold Air.
Also recently re-registered but to an engineering company in Gladstone is Cessna 210 VH-KTE. It has been noted operating around CQ in recent days, and visited Emerald Airport on both Tuesday 3 November and Wednesday 4 November.
New South Wales-based Cessna 210 VH-CJI called into Emerald from its Orange home on Wednesday 4 November. It took on fuel and departed further North to Cairns.
Silver City Air Charter of Broken Hill Beech C90 VH-MWF was noted calling into Emerald from Brisbane on Tuesday 3 November. It departed to Charleville a short while later.
Finally, Northern Territory-based Air Frontier Beech 58 Baron VH-AKH was noted calling into Emerald Airport on Sunday 1 November from Archerfield. It departed further North on Monday 2 November.
