Yulgibar Pastoral Company Take Delivery of Cessna 560 Citation Encore Bizjet VH-YUL via Longreach Airport

An interesting visitor noted calling into Longreach Airport for fuel on Tuesday 2 February was Cessna 560 Citation Encore bizjet VH-YUL.

VH-YUL was delivered to Australia on Monday 1 February, touching down at Darwin on completion of a flight from Brunei.  After calling into Longreach Airport, it departed to Bankstown Airport near Sydney where it was captured by local plane spotter Bernie P shortly after arrival.

The smart little Citation was recently registered to the Yulgibar Pastoral Company (of Montmorency, Victoria) and appears to be a replacement aircraft for their Cessna 550 Citation Bravo bizjet VH-FGK which was involved in an incident which saw it veer of the Runway at Lismore Airport last Friday 25 September.

Some research reveals that VH-YUL is a 2001-built Citation Encore (CN/MSN: 560-0553) that appears to have been operated in the United Kingdom (UK) for some time carrying the registration marking G-KDMA.
